I went through about 15 companies that specialize in roofing and siding to complete my house after my original contractor ripped me off by doing a botch job on my roof and siding, unfortunately no one wanted the job. I went to Unilocal as last resort and that’s when I came across Blake windows, siding and gutters. Arnie Blake inspected the job and in the process of his inspection, Arnie Blake educated me on the steps of applying a new roof and siding. Customer service was fit for a king/​President. He went out his way to answer all questions and continued to inform me on the status of the work to the end. Arnie Blake is a blessing from God. Not only did I found a great contractor but I made a friend.

I had my stucco/​cedar shingle bungalow resided by the Blake company in the fall. I could not be more satisfied. Arnie, the owner, walked around the entire house pointing out all the things I had to do before the job: fence was too close to the house, a pipe had to be moved, other pipes had to be extended. All of thse changes were minor and led to a finished project that was more polished since the siding did not have to be pieced around the obstructions. My house was a complex job as it was stucco with recessed windows and lots of angles. Arnie came back a second tone with the installer before giving me the estimate, which was beyond fair. The work was completed quickly and neatly. A neighbor recently commented on how impressed he was by the workers and the job they did. The best part is the way the installers covered all of the unattractive wires and pipes. I am looking forward to using Blake for future projects!

Blake Roofing did an excellent job on our roof & gutters. We have a renewed sense of ownership with our home — our home looks brand new. The workmanship was excellent and the work was completed in a little over a day. Arnie was patient and worked with us for a few months until we were able to finance the roof and gutters. My experience with them was EXCELLENT. I can’t tell you how impressed with them. The owner — Arnie Blake — spent the time to visit us personally, explain how the process works when working with an insurance company and the details of what a good roofing job is compared to a slap-​on job. They follow the (GAF) book when they installed the roof and it not only looks great, but there are no leaks. On top of that, his price quote was spot on with what the insurance company quoted and there was this deductible of some sort (forgot the name) that we thought that we had missed the deadline on and figured we would lose out on it, but after submitting the right paperwork and following up the insurance company sent the check for the remaining amount, leaving us with only our deductible to cover out of pocket.
I promised to make this review some time ago and a lot of time has passed, but the roof still looks great (even after several more rough storms) and I would recommend them over and over again.
We called a few other companies and I can tell you there are a lot of shady characters out there doing rooves. If you want to work with a professional who takes pride in their work and does the right job and the right price, I’d recommend Blake Roofing!
