Karissa C.

Business Owner

As an avid Spartan fan, she could be seen wearing Green & White while getting her education degree from the University of Michigan. To improve her work/​life balance, she gave up her teaching career to help build the family real estate business and start her own property management company. One of the benefits of being your own boss is that you can arrange your schedule around bus times, a sick child or a field trip! Since her high school/​college days of working in a restaurant, Karissa has become an amazing cook and experiments with all kinds of new dishes. Food is her passion and led her to opening her first Biggby Coffee store here in New Hudson, MI! Besides drinking coffee and rooting for MSU basketball/​football, she enjoys volleyball, yoga and being an extreme couponer!
