I was referred to Ron from a friend who bought an engagement ring and was very pleased. I too was in the market and had done quite a bit of research and pricing of what I wanted. Ron did an excellent job of helping me out. I showed him a pic of what I had in mind and he was able to use a larger center stone, customize the setting (diamond encrusted halo), and assure that I had the sizing right; all for about 15% less than the online retailers (who themselves were less expensive than local retailers). My fiancée loved the ring, we’re both very happy with our experience at Wholesale Gold & Diamond.
FYI, per other reviews, not a fancy storefront, very modest office. I like this, as it shows how Ron can offer such aggressive pricing.

Ron is amazing. I am a very lucky lady in that my fiancé has done business with him for several items, including an incredibly gorgeous engagement ring. I had found a setting I liked of ornate hand-​engraving and filigree that Ron was able to commission for an incredible price — which meant I also ended up with a stunning large diamond as well. Ron is a very honest upfront person, do not expect the big show, but you get a great deal on jewlery. Make sure to look around beforehand so that you had an idea of what you want before heading to him. He works with a jewlery then to design the item exactly how you want it

The owner, Ron, is a no-​frills business man. He tells it to you straight, but he also works hard to get you the highest quality jewelry at a fraction of the cost. He doesn’t keep much on display in his store, but that’s all part of keeping his prices low. No complaints here though because he ordered several diamonds and styles for me to try on when I was deciding.
I had been drooling over a designer engagement ring that was well out of my fiancé’s price range. Ron found me an identical ring, well within our price range AND I was able to get a larger diamond.
Go to this place with an open mind. It helps if you send him pictures of things you like ahead of time. I promise it’s so worth it!

I’ve only given one other «one-​star» Unilocal rant, but these guys take the cake. My sweetie and I went here, with the idea of having a smaller stone put into a white gold ring. It is not a Tiffany ring, but not junk. The owner (his picture is on the website) says (direct quote): «It’s just a sh*tty little ring.» WOW! The website says,“We will tell you the truth, even if it hurts your feelings.” I guess we were warned. I’ve done business w/​schnorrers & putzes in NY who weren’t this rude though. Convenient location in The Lumber Exchange Bldg. Not much merchandise at all there, but it’s just a sh*tty little store. Caveat Emptor!
