History

Established in 2013.

While our gallery is fairly new, our Guild is not — we are celebrating our 70^th anniversary this year!

The Guild was formed to support and promote fine American craft and the people who make it. Our mission includes education and promoting public awareness, so establishing a gallery was a natural step in our evolution.

Red Tulip Gallery is staffed by the artists who make the work you see. It’s not uncommon to stop in and see an artist at work on their craft, and we are always happy to talk about what we do and how we do it!

We host a number of special events in the Gallery throughout the year, each designed to enlighten and educate while having fun. Past events include «Setting a Holiday Table,» an exploration of how modern crafts can enhance a holiday gathering, and «Art Jewelry 101,» a discussion about how to understand and appreciate artisan-​crafted jewelry that uses different techniques and materials.
