We are a luxury day spa that has our focus on client service and outstanding massages, facials, body treatments, nail services and waxing. We have been honored with four «Best of Philly» awards from Philadelphia magazine, including Best Day Spa and Best Massage (twice). Our mid-​century modern environment is uniquely chic yet overwhelmingly comfortable. Our nine treatment rooms allow groups of nearly any size spa-​together, and our couples massage room is perfect for enjoying special time together. Our retail boutique boasts brands such as Dermalogica, Kai, Lafco, Sonya Dakar, Voluspa, Olivina, Barefoot Dreams and many more. All of us at Nurture Spa look forward to seeing you soon.

History

Established in 2005.

Underwhelmed with what most day spas were offering their clients. owner Carolyn Holdsworth set out to bring the quality of a destination spa to a local day spa environment. «Shouldn’t every spa experience, whether it’s a massage or an eyebrow wax, feel like a getaway», said Carolyn. As a former corporate executive and self-​proclaimed spa and product junkie, Carolyn is focused on ensuring that the best therapies, products and customer service is delivered to every client, every visit.

As a former corporate exec, Carolyn was constantly disillusioned with her visits to day spas. Whether they were lacking quality treatments, had unappealing atmospheres or were clueless about what great customer service really was, she decided to quit her day job and devote her life to bringing the closest thing to a destination spa experience to her day spa, Nurture Spa.

Carolyn believes that a exceptional treatments, outstanding therapists, a stunning atmosphere and sincere customer service can coexist all under one roof… and that’s what you’ll find at the award-​winning, Nurture Spa.
