Specialties
Rolfing is a form of hands-on bodywork whose goal is to open, balance, and align one’s body primarily through working with the fascia, or connective tissue.
As a Rolfer, my sincere goal in working with clients is for their alignment and posture to improve, for pain to significantly decrease or disappear, and for movement to become more supported, balanced, and fluid. If what you’re looking for in bodywork is to zone out and breathe deeply of scented candles, I would not recommend Rolfing be your first choice. If, on the other hand, you are looking high and low for a way to feel sincerely, capital B, better– welcome!
History
Established in 2009.
I opened New Haven Rolfing in 2009, however I’ve been in practice since 2000 and have had practices in Napa and Sonoma, California, and Brooklyn, NY.

Brooke T.
Business Owner
I graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado in 2000. While at the Institute I studied with a number of outstanding teachers, many of whom trained directly with Dr. Ida Rolf.
I came to Rolfing nearly 15 years ago to heal from a severe jaw disorder. I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice it to say– for those of you dragging yourself to doctors four days a week — I’ve been there. I tried a lot of things and was generally stumbling around trying to find the thing that would make a dramatic difference. I refused to accept the idea that many people had tried to feed me: that I was a sunk ship and I was going to have to learn to accept it.
Finally I found Rolfing and it had such a dramatic impact on my body that I began training as a Rolfer 2 years after my first session. Now I’m delighted to be able to share this work with others who are seeking a way to heal.
