CJ May brings the ancient Celtic world to life with stories and activities based upon years of study, practice and performance. He specializes in the older stories of heroes and magic but can also speak to more recent folklore. With all performances and presentations he enchants as well as educates, leaving audience members (young & old) informed and delighted.

History

Established in 2000.

CJ May has told stories for decades, but only in the last 15 years focused on the tales of Celtic lands. Working with the Celtic Learning Project, he used storytelling as a true-​to-​Celt method of bringing the ancient worlds of Ireland, Scotland and other Western European nations to life.

CJ May has lived and studied folklore and stories around the globe. He has also studied Irish, Scots Gaelic and even thatching in his efforts make Celtic living a part of his own life… and to ensure his performances and presentations are based in real world experience!
