I have been trying to find somewhere to get a consultation for electrolysis. I really wanted to try this place because it’s most convenient for me. I called a couple months prior and left a voicemail. I never was called back. Last week I sent an email discussing that I still was interested in her services. Still, no one responded. A good business should respond to people who inquire about their services! Kind of unprofessional to not call possible clients back.

After first going to another electrologist, I received a stroke of luck when a friend recommended Cathy.
Prior to trying electrolysis, I had waxed and tweezed. I also had some darkening of the skin in the areas where I had been tweezing, which had become quite noticeable and bothersome. While the first esthetician was very nice, I was a little concerned with the little sores I seemed to have after each treatment. After speaking to a friend, I decided to try another electrologist.
I must say I was very pleased with Cathy’s technique — no noticeable scarring on my face and her concern re: the condition of my skin. She is very sensitive to how you are doing during the treatment and checks-​in throughout the session to make sure that you are not experiencing too much discomfort (she is treating individual hairs). While electrolysis does take longer than other methods of hair removal, I will say that it is well worth the wait. After going to Cathy, my unwanted hair is not just unnoticeable — IT IS GONE and my skin has cleared-​up entirely. A friend recently commented on the absence of the dark spots I previously had on my chin.
The business is in a great, discreet location. And, Cathy is a wonderful esthetician who makes you feel at ease and is really willing to work with you. I love that she is available seven-​days per week and that she takes appointments all-​day long from the morning until 7pm or so. Also, she is really accommodating — sometimes taking last minute calls and appointment changes.
I highly recommend New Haven Electrolysis for anyone who is interested in hair removal.
