Ordered delivery, they never attempted to call me and delivered my dinner to the wrong house. Not happy.

Pretty standard Chinese takeout/delivery. I think they do some dishes better than others, but I’m a fan of their wonton soup and broccoli with garlic sauce(I thought the lo mein and sesame chicken was just okay). The prices are very reasonable, and the delivery is always faster than expected, even during busy dinner hours.

Ordered online and my order was correct and done on time. Although I would just rate it average for Chinese food. I usually get fried rice and Im not sure if that was even an option or just not advertised. For the price I’m used to getting an egg roll with a dinner portion.

Beware. A friend and I ate here three days ago, and both of us have been ill since. I’ll spare you the details, but just know that our bodies are desperately using everything in their biological toolkits to get every last bit of Blessings II Go out. Forcefully. We will be reporting them to the health department.

I wish I could put zero stars. They took an hour and a half, NOTEVENEXAGERRATING, to deliver my food, and then I took a couple bites and wanted to throw up. And I don’t dislike a lot of food, especially when I’m that starving. They’re chicken was so nasty the lomein tasted like nothing the dumplings were just stupid, usually any dumplings taste amazing when I’m that hungry. I was so mad

What can I say. I work across the street. There have been months when I have lived on their broccoli with garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein and the incredible vegetable soup. They are never late with my order. The food is always perfect.

Blessings II Go earned a solid 2.5÷5 rating from me. After a late night, I ordered from Blessings II Go for takeaway — My order was 1) Large wonton soup and 2) Small chicken with Chinese vegetables. Lets break this down: The wonton soup was truly terrible. I love wonton soup and I’ve had an endless amount: both made at home and in various Asian restaurants. The broth was terrible and flavourless — It truly tasted like warmed canned chicken broth. The dumplings were described by another reviewer as slightly thicker than usual — No, these were WAY thicker than standard. Do yourself a favour, just bypass this soup. The chicken with Chinese vegetables were ‘Meh’ — unfortunately, there isn’t much more to say about it. While I liked the vegetables they used, the sauce didn’t have much flavour. Three small details kept my Blessings II Go rating at 2.5: 1) The rice was good, 2) The price is wallet-friendly(although similar to other similar local restaurants), 3) Open late. Recommendations: –Resist getting the wonton soup –Start small: For your first order try the small size of your favourite item and then decide if you would return. Verdict: I will only try Blessings II Go again if I want delivery and nothing else is open/close by. This potential aside, I probably won’t return, sorry.

This place offers and executes pretty well on everything you would expect from a modest American Chinese food spot. The fried chicken was surprisingly good(4⁄5), the general tso’s chicken was par for the course(4⁄5), the fried rice didn’t have as many veggies and was more yellow than I expected(3⁄5), the shrimp rolls and fried spring rolls were fine(3⁄5), but I also ordered shrimp chow mein and was given some kind of shrimp and veggies in a broth(no noodles). Outside of that blunder on my order, I was pleased overall. It won’t blow your mind, but it won’t disappoint either. Certainly an appropriate for takeout or delivery for a night in the house watching Netflix.

I have stopped here occasionally over the years. Quality had gone down noticeably over time, but last month I stopped here after a nearby appointment and ordered the General Tso’s chicken. When I got home I was appalled to find that the chicken was nothing but a huge ball of cornstarch with a tiny fleck of chicken(at least I think it was chicken) at the very center. I have never seen anything that looked so much like a clear attempt to rip off the customer. I should have cut a few of the«nuggets» in half and photographed them for this site. I will not go back again.

As American Chinese food goes, this is great, inexpensive, and has great delivery times(I live in East Rock).

Surprisingly good Chinese take-out! Fast service, really large portion sizes, inexpensive and great variety in the menu. Delivery is always quick. Gen. Tso Tofu, Garlic Eggplant with Shrimp and Veg Chow Mei Fun are the favorites!

Good, inexpensive Chinese takeout with speedy service. The service is excellent. When I thought my order didn’t go through online, I called in the same order from a different number. The delivery guy realized the error and tracked me down to confirm what I actually wanted. And the food arrived only 10 minutes later.

This is an Inexpensive, quick takeout/with delivery restaurant. I mean most Asian fast food restaurant basically serves the same kind of food and competition is furious. Blessings 2 Go is one of those that the food is worth the price, considering that it’s cost is below average. They have recommended general Taos chicken for my first visit and I had rice noodles on my second visit. Both of them are above average in terms of flavor and efficiency. And they are friendly and quick at their delivery, which makes it a huge plus for me when I am seeking for quick Asian food to cure my demanding stomach. Good place to order from if you are lazy and wanna wait for the food at home, quick takeouts, and don’t wanna spend much for decent food.(Good for a quick lunch and late night snack) :)

Meh. Blessings II Go is a Chinese takeout place like any other. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken, which is what I almost always order at any Chinese place. I thought the sauce was fantastic — some of the tastiest I’ve had. The chicken, though, was mushy and not at all crispy the way it should be. The portion was also a little smaller than I’m used to getting from other places. Inside, the ambience was nice considering it’s just a takeout place. There were a few tables I could have eaten at, and it looked clean enough. I suppose a second try is in order, but all in all, it was a bit underwhelming.

Blessings is a generic, run of the mill Chinese food place. The selection on the menu is a carbon copy of every other Chinese food place you’ve ever encountered. I’m sure that there is only one actual menu and every place just changes the name that’s printed on it. So, the plus is, you know what to expect, the minus is that there’s nothing special about the place. The quality of the food is so-so. Pretty much any combo platter is going to be greasy. When you’re done, there will be a small puddle on the bottom of the container making you question the decisions you’ve made in life that led to this point. Does it taste good? Sure, but for me, I feel like I’ve eaten a brick a short time later. Delivery. They deliver, and they’re usually pretty quick about it, so that’s a plus. I mean, if you consider getting mediocre food faster a plus. Cost. Yeah, they’re cheaper than most other places. They better be. It would be a crime against food if they charged more. Conclusion. The food is passable. You can get better elsewhere.

The food is decent to good, not out the the range you’d expect for Chinese food. It wasn’t super spectacular but it was tasty and I enjoyed it. I wouldn’t have tried it if my mom didn’t want to get something out of the normal, and it met my expectations.

We went down here for takeout tonight for the first time. I think I’ll do a two part review. First of all, the little Asian fish/food market attached to the restaurant is fantastic for tough to find Asian foods. They have excellent, fresh rice noodles, wonton sheets, spices, and that impossible to find, spicy brown dumpling dipping sauce. The fresh fish selection is also excellent, and they will gladly fillet the whole fish for you. On to the takeout. The crab rangoons were so/so. The wonton-egg drop soup was delicious, full of wontons and a little thicker than I’m used to. The egg rolls were best I’ve had in a long time. The General Tso’s and Garlic Chicken were both above average for takeout Chinese. The four stars are not for an amazing, authentic Chinese restaurant, but for stellar Americanized Chinese food. Let’s not forget — It’s very inexpensive compared to the others in town.

Just your average greasy Chinese take-out joint. I thought they might be a notch above because they claim to have brown rice, but that’s misleading(read on). I got a variety mixed vegetable($ 4.35 for a small) and a large Kung Pao tofu($ 6.55 for a large). I also asked for brown rice. First, the brown rice is not brown rice. It’s actually white rice colored yellow(with turmeric? egg yolk? not sure), but it’s definitely not any type of brown rice. So that sucked. And if the rice is made with egg yolk, then it’s not vegan either. The variety mixed vegetable was greasy and gooey with a think brown sauce loaded with cornstarch. The dish had little flavor and the portion size was really small. The Kung Pao tofu, on the other hand, was a huge portion and wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t great, either. I liked that they fried the tofu and put the peanuts on the side. They could have used a lot less celery and a lot more dice water chestnuts and bell peppers. All in all, Blessings II Go isn’t worth a visit. I would recommend Hunan Café in downtown New Haven if you’re looking for cheap, but high-grade, Chinese food.
