Sangertown Square is an average mall. It is a good size mall, but nothing compared to Destiny USA in Syracuse

The place has potential. I have high hopes for the renovations that are underway. It’ll need an expansion to stay competitive however. Pyramid really needs to kick some of these crappy restaurants out of the food court and pursue the ThEATery concept they have in the Walden Galleria, probably by means of an expansion, adding a second theatre and new food choices to the Mohawk Valley.

Some of the other reviewers here must think its 1985 and Shopping Malls have reached their pinnacle of excellence…
Its 2014 people, we should be happy this mall is still even here.
Obviously Sangertown Square Mall does not have everything for everyone, but when I need a basic item (eg. shoes, a lamp, a shirt) Sangertown usually has me covered.

When in the New Hartford area we spent some time at Sangertown Square. As we walked through the mall we were surprised at some of the stores they had but overall it was a generic mall. The other interesting thing about this mall was that it reminded us of another mall we frequent and come to find out, it is owned by the same company as the Hampshire Mall in Hadley.
In the end we had fun at this mall popping in and out of stores, but the food court was bland, the kids running through the store were in the way, and it could use more modern stores.

look no further, junior, your quest concludes here. you came looking for:
–fat families eating unhealthy food (parents smoking in front of kids)
–embarrassingly low end retail — think aero, abercrombie, gap
–racism
–divalicious pregnant high school girls
so take in the sight, eat a seven hundred calorie pretzel, (that’s the snack size, young man) buy a sleeveless hoodie and a pair of parachute pants, check out hot topix and scheme on the ladies at the arcade, you’ve really made it

This shopping center isn’t much, but it’s something. It’s good if you know what you are looking to get. I live in nyc though so compared to the stores in the city, the selections offered in the clothing stores at this mall are very limited.
