Our practice has served the Connecticut and New York communities for 25 years. Our Connecticut patients hail from New Fairfield, Danbury, Brookfield, Bethel, Newtown, Sherman, New Milford and Kent. Our New York patients travel from Manhattan, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Columbia Counties.

Dr. Huwer has been practicing orthodontics for 25 years and, most recently, was awarded the Talk of the Town Excellence in Customer Satisfaction 2011 Award. This accolade speaks to what Dr. Huwer is most proud of – the relationships built with the families he has treated and a practice that has flourished with the referrals of happy patients.

Dr. Huwer earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Fordham University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from and completed his Orthodontic residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in the distinguished Orthodontic Honors Program.

Dr. Huwer is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and Connecticut Society of Orthodontists. He is also a participating orthodontist with Smiles Change Lives®, a non-​profit organization that pairs local children in extreme circumstances with life-​changing orthodontic care.
