We help downsize your home and assist you in moving into a smaller home, apartment or Independent Living Community. Our services include packing your goods for the move, working with a licensed mover to get you the best price for your move, Dispersal of unwanted goods, to either charitable donations, consignment, and in many cases putting you in direct contact with our Auctioneer to sell antiques, collectibles or valuable home goods. History

Established in 2008.

Moving Maniacs was created to fill a niche in the senior market. Many seniors were being ripped off when hiring for services. Our goal is always to protect our clients while giving them incredible customer service, a warm smile, lots of hugs and a lot of hard work helping them to transition and downsize their lives.

We started with my mother in law who was not able to handle living at home alone. We sorted, purged and dispersed her household goods. Prepped her home for sale and packed her unpacked her and set her up in a beautiful room that was fully decorated when she arrived. She was amazed at the detail and attention we took with her, we then did the same for a friend of ours whose mother needed to go to an assisted care facility. She was floored with not only the services we offered but the compassion and care we took with her entire family through this difficult process.

Business Owner

Pam started this company after assisting a close friend in downsizing her mother to an assisted care facility. The client worked 12 hr days regularly with little time to help her mother with such a large undertaking.

Knowing I had moved many times, she thought I could assist her with some things and find the right people to do all the tasks that needed to be accomplished in a short time frame.

She also knew I could help her get the mother’s home ready for sale because I owned The Frugal Decorator. So we set off on a great adventure together. That is where we began.

I created the basic company structure with this one job and decided with much prompting from my friends to build theses services into a company that could help other seniors and their families get through a most difficult process.

This journey also helped us to downsize my mother in law, and allowed us to be blessed meeting incredible seniors with incredible lives and stories that touch our hearts daily.
