I wanted to like this place. I would’ve liked to come back. The wings were mediocre. The burger initially undercooked. The fries cold. The food was just ok even if it had been heated and cooked properly. Kinda like bowling alley food with nice service. I wouldn’t go back for food. Maybe for a beer and the comedy club.

This is becoming my go-to local spot. Fairly priced everything, great ownership, and good food. Everything I have tasted has been right on par with all of the others who do the same kinds of food, and the bartenders are attentive and cool.

I’ve been here twice – once with my husband and once with my son(that time we went on wing night – 50 cents per wing – great deal!). I had a salad both times – first time I had their version of a Pittsburgh steak salad and the second time I had their Greek salad with gyro meat. I loved the steak salad, the Greek salad was just okay. My husband had their garlic parm wings and my son had the boneless mild ranchero wings. I tried both of their wings and they were very good. They also have a decent selection of beers on tap. Happy hour is a dollar off drafts, which is better than nothing, but it would be nice to have them half price like some other local establishments. I had 2 different waitresses and both were very nice and attentive. I’m glad there’s now a restaurant close to me that isn’t super expensive and has good food – so far I like it better than Field House and Kokomos.

Stopped in for a quick drink after dinner elsewhere. Ordered a Jameson on the rocks. I don’t mind paying $ 6.00 for a whiskey, but $ 1.50 for the rocks? Speechless!

Food menu is expensive. I had a fried food sampler that was nearly $ 10 and it didn’t fill me up. Food taste was«ok» but portions were small. Disappointed. Probably won’t come back here.

Awesome food, great friendly staff! No problem seating or serving large groups. We liked it so much we ate there 2 nights in a row, while visiting Hershey park! Our waitress both nights Taylor was awesome, she even remembered our drinks next night!

HUGEVENUE complete with a game room and patio! Apparently, its not done either because they are still renovating a portion of the place! My boyfriend and I split 12BBQ wings. They were great. We both ordered burgers and fries and they were great, the fried especially. I got the El Paso burger and it had a lot of flavor, the fries were better than I expected. The bartender was attentive. They had a nice selection of drafts on tap. We are from out of town, so probably won’t be back. However, if we are in the area, we would definitely be back. I’d be anxious to see how this place grows.

Excellent lunch experience. Had the strawberry chicken salad with perfectly done grilled chicken. Passed on the dressing that my friend said was excellent. Terrific selection of micro-brews. Will be back for Happy Hour and dinner. Waitstaff was polite and enthusiastic and the manager stopped by! During the day, the inside dining room was light and airy. Would have eaten on the nicely designed patio, but it was over 90 degrees today. Give the place a try!

Average tasting food. Small portions. Seemed a little pricey for what we received. Will not return anytime soon.

I apologize to anyone who made the mistake of going here before I wrote this review, it took me WAY too long, but I am still shocked and appalled by my experience. My Mother and I went on Fathers Day. Both of our Fathers are no longer with us, but we still do something to observe the day. She doesn’t live far from Boomerang, and was happy to see something go into that space, so we decided to give it a try. It wasn’t overly crowded, but maybe it was earlier. We were promptly seated and given menus and a «Specials» sheet. When I asked about one of them, I was told that they were out. I tried ordering something else — they were out. I finally settled on the Prime Rib special with a baked potato. I asked about a side salad and you guessed it — they were out. The Server suggested a Cucumber Salad, which was very good. Mom ordered a Flat Bread Pizza and then we settled on our Wine selections. The Wine came, and along came a large side of fruit flies. One was doing a backstroke in Mom’s White Wine. It wasn’t as obvious with my Red, but they were crawling on the inside and outside of my glass. We waited 45 minutes, drinking water only, to get Prime Rib and a Pizza. The Pizza was very good, the Prime Rib was overdone. I told the Server and asked if I could get what I ordered(Medium) without waiting another 45 minutes and she promised that the Chef«is all over it.» I did get another Steak promptly, but no potato. It wasn’t Prime Rib, either, but it was cooked right and I was hungry, so I didn’t argue, but I did ask a few times for the potato. I had said something to the Manager, and was almost done, before a potato that felt like it spent a few minutes in a Microwave came out. The Manager, who we were told later was the owner, came over and I began to go over what went wrong. I wasn’t trying to get something for nothing, but I understand this is relatively new, so I thought I was doing a favor by mentioning issues that could be easily corrected with a little training. He rudely cut me off, told us that 350 people had been through earlier and no one had a problem except us. He said to enjoy our meal, said that they don’t want our money, then proceeded to tell us that next time we go out to eat, to go somewhere else!!! Well, don’t ask me twice! I have spoken to others since who also said they had a bad experience and will not be back. The fact is, the majority of people don’t give any feedback, like I tried to do, they just leave and don’t return. The only reasons I didn’t give zero stars is, Unilocal won’t let me, and, our Waitress really did try. I felt badly for her, that no one around her can do anything right and the Owner has no people skills. We did leave her a decent tip for her efforts

Came here with my family when we were visiting up home. We really enjoyed the deck, and the guys loved the Troegs IPA special on Monday night. I had the strawberry chicken salad off the special menu and I enjoyed it! The house strawberry dressing is really good! Service was very good too. We will come back next time we are in town.

Great service and atmosphere with entertainment. The food was just ok. Wings had no sauce in them and the beer I ordered was some how worth 8.00. Will probably not go back considering other options nearby

I had a great experience there. I got the black forest chicken wrap. which was really good. As an appetizer we got boneless honey bbq wings that were also very good. I would definitely go back and try other things. The wait stuff was very helpful and knowledgeable about there beer selection. I did think the layout was a bit odd. But I guess they’re still renovating. Regardless atmosphere and food were both good

Great Potential — Huge Disappointment! We frequented this establishment when it was Doc Holliday’s and opted to go here for a business lunch. From the moment our waitress, Suzanne(Server 125/Back Bar) approached us, we experienced a great sense of being rushed. She may have thought she was being funny but we all agreed she came across as rude & sarcastic. When I asked about a certain«appetizer», her response was a curt«it’s spicy and deep-fried.» She basically just stood there expecting us to make a decision on the spot. We got through that experience and ordered our main courses. The food was mediocre at best. But more importantly all of us in our party experienced an extreme sense that she wanted us out there as soon as possible!(The place was not that crowded; nor was there a line to get in.) After our main courses were brought, she once again attempted to hurry us, wanting to give us the bill. We were still conversing and there were unfinished drinks on our table. The final«blow» was after we let her know we would like a little more time, she did an «about-face» and completely ignored us. It took the gentleman we were meeting with to go to the bar to ask for our tab. If all that weren’t enough, as we were leaving, I happened to notice the hostess/manager sitting at one of the booths. I asked her what our server’s name was(she had no name tag on) and she told me and saw me write it down, but never once asked if there was a problem. Will we go back? That remains to be seen.

«Boomerang» implies that you will come back. For me, that’s a definite, «maybe.» The restaurant is fairly new and appears to be doing a good business. We called for a reservation earlier in the day, and seated when we arrived. The restaurant was well lit and had a nice floor plan with lots of space. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The patio looked very nice, but we sat inside. We ordered beverages, appetizers, and meals. There were about 10 beers on draft-a decent selection. Our appetizers came out timely and were hot. Our meals also came out timely and were hot. We ordered a Steak Melt, Steak Pitt Salad, and the special Texas Chili. The food was average — nothing really special about it. The steak on my sandwich was a bit tough. I had a large fried onion ring on top that was very greasy. The salad was plentiful with nice vegetables. All in all, an average meal. I am willing to go again, maybe in a few months, to see if they tweek the menu at all or get a little better at the preparation.

Boomerang bar & grill is the new restaurant in the old Doc Holidays complex. The renovations inside are beautiful and the food is tasty. Good prices and atmosphere, with a 200+ seat comedy club on property as well, with live stand up comedy from national touring comedians. The Boomerang burger and Gyro are both good choices.

Fast service when we walked in at 5:30. Pleasant and attentive staff. Liked how it wasn’t overly noisy. Loved my lasagna and the troegs beer selection. Menu selections sparse including just 2 desserts but we’ll be back. Suggestion to owners– salad could use some sprucing up. Love the summit Greek salad– please serve here as well!

Couldn’t wait to try this newly-renovated place. The main dining area is very nice, hope the food catches up. I had the Lone Ranger Wrap and it came with either soup or fries. I asked the waitress if the fries were handcut, and she said yes, so I opted for them. The bag must of said handcut because they sure weren’t. I should have got the soup because another in our party had the ham and bean soup and said it was really good. The steak tips in my wrap were delicious and prepared perfectly, but the tiger sauce was dripping and runny. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, and the side of coleslaw was good but could have used some seasoning. Iced tea was homemade so that was definitely a plus. Service was prompt at lunch time, but not crowded. Will try this place again.
