AW was founded by Dr. Charles Schwartz and his mentor Dr. Joseph Cheu in West Orange, NJ.

The program is a blend of Eastern and Western practices and is comprised of three elements:

Acupressure, Balanced nutrition, Chi Gong breathing.

There are currently 13 locations on the East Coast.

Business Owner

President/​CEO. Daughter of founder Dr. Schwartz, Barbara joined the business in 2005.

In addition to running the company, Barbara is the primary weight loss consultant in the

NYC and Rockland County offices.

Barbara graduated from the New York College of Health Professions in 2009. She is also a CPA.
