Enjoyed the Sunday brunch during Winter Wine Festival month
The Only foods I would have loved to see were mashed potato, Bread rolls and perhaps macaroni and cheese. Otherwise they did a nice buffet with beautifully prepared salads, meats, breakfast items and bite sizes deserts.

Booked a night for my girlfriends birthday. Got upgraded to a maritime bay suite. Room was 2 floors, 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom suite with jetted tubs. Full kitchen & gas woodstove. Great room, comfy beds and outstanding view. Dinner at Salt, the restaurant was good, not great for $ 100. The Sunday brunch, however is amazing. $ 40 covers champagne mimosas, raw bar of seafood (excellent shrimp), 15 deserts to choose from, carving station including ham, prime rib (red & delicious) pork, omelet station, waffles, homemade fritters, sausage, bacon, real maple syrup and fresh fruit & cheeses. Holy Moses… fantastic. Everyone in the place, all grumpy New Englanders in January, had huge smiles on their faces. Also a very good two piece band playing good classics. Brunch at the Wentworth is a must!!!

We stay at the Wentworth once a year for my wife’s birthday and we have never been disappointed. This past weekend was no exception. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite on the water and it was beautiful. We went to the lounge and was severed by Emily, who was very knowledgeable and a great sense of humor.
Dinner was fantastic although I forgot the waiters name. He was very professional and the dinner was second to none.
We will be back next year!

Wonderful hotel along the water in New Hampshire. My wife and I visited up here for a wedding. Great hotel, wonderful venue and dog friendly! Very friendly staff and talk about the building completely renovated beautiful old hotel from early 1900s! I would recommend it to all my friends and family!

Wow, always had such high expectations for here. Such a disappointment. No late night menu, no vending, no service past a certain hour. First class service my foot! Ended up calling dominos, gross! And even the bathrobe was used and well past its prime. Tattered and frayed. Sad that such a well respected place is such a let down on the first impression.

Great hotel, hidden gem. Great rooms, service, spas, tennis, plenty to do…

Beautiful resort with breathtaking views, friendly service, and an amazing brunch! Charming property with a perfect old school feel and modern amenities. Splurge and get a harbor view room, you won’t be disappointed!
Were able to go into Portsmouth for the evening with a cab no problem and with Über and cab services making routine runs back, it was a breeze door to door.
Can’t wait to return!

The Sunday Jazz Brunch was lovely. Food exquisite, presentation very nice. Waitstaff needs more training taking credit cards and working the computer to charge customers. Still fighting a repeated charge x 5 for this brunch for one signed credit charge. Beware when splitting the bill with several credit cards, staff can’t handle it, even when given written instructions. I am paying over $ 1,000 for a $ 200 charge. If I ever visit again, I will be paying with CASH. Just saying.

Spa Review: I live for facials and the clarifying facial i had was amazing. Erica was my esthetician and did an outstanding job. She was knowledgeable and her technique was on point!

The Sunday brunch offerings are exceptionally good and the Mimosas are very nice. For the price the wait staff should be given some training on how to take care of the customers. We did receive some great service at times, but other times we had to ask for coffee and Mimosa refills. After waiting for someone to come by and seeing two other tables near us go unattended, I flagged down someone to get our waitress. Even then, when we asked for coffee, no offer was made to refill our Mimosas, we had to ask.
The food however is exceptionally good and varied. The made to order omelets were perfect and the wide array of seafood was very good.

Spa Review… Super Disappointing and poor quality!
I stayed at the hotel with my family and had a lovely experience. I wanted to relax and treat myself to the spa. I booked the Wentworth Classic Pedicure priced at $ 75, I expected it to be amazing as the price suggests they were offering a quality experience. On the contrary, my service was not good. The massage lasted about one minute on each foot and was not at all a massage, it was more of an application of lotion. The description boasted 60 minutes of relaxation. My tech, Victoria got up at one point and stood at a counter across the room for a few minutes, it seemed like she was trying to kill time, all the while I was sitting in the chair wondering if there was going to be an actual massage.
She did a pretty good job on the filing and scrubbing, etc., however I was shocked at the end when I saw how poor the polish application looked on my toes! Honestly, for $ 75 the nails should look perfect. The polish on my big toe looked pretty sloppy. I tipped her 20% because I’m a good tipper and nice like that but I wouldn’t recommend the spa to a friend, it felt like a major rip off :(

ok, lets make this official. This is my wife’s favorite place. Is it the charm and style of this beautiful building, or maybe the wonderful views form some of our favorite rooms, perhaps its the quality of the food, or even the wonderful service, from the folks at the door, Concierge, cleaning staff or serving folks — we have not had a bad experience — ever.
We love the outside pool (we know there is an inside one too !), enjoy the walls around the grounds, sitting on the front porch. If Concierge served wine and had a terrace — I would move in!
Truly, if your looking for a special get-​away first class — try this place!

So i have lived in NH awhile and heard so much about this place. So when my husband booked us a night on Easter I was pretty much jumping for excitement. I’ll break it down piece by piece.
Our room:
Wonderful view of the sea, large room very quiet very comfortable bed. Our TV made this low pitch sound when it was on we couldn’t fix but Id gladly take that when my view from my window is that amazing. My only complaint was the bath tub. I filled it up for a nice hot bath but it could barely hold any water without automatically draining. And I’m a tiny 5’1 girl so this is rare when it’s an issue. Still the room was nice :)
Dining:
Zero complaints about breakfast which was amazing (I had lox on a bagel). But for dinner Easter Sunday they had a limited menu… And the food wasn’t that good :/​I was dissapointed by it but sort of figured oh this is a special menu maybe they just aren’t as good at it as the usual stuff. I got the tenderloin cooked medium. The inside was PERFECT but the outside was burnt to a crisp all blackened. I’m sure if they had served lobster like I was hoping Id love it but the food was just okay.
Spa:
By far why people come here for sure. This is the absolute best part. I got a stress relief massage for 80 minutes– it came with a free foot scrub. The massage was amazing. The only thing I suggest is WARM UP THE OIL! It was so cold! But the massage was GREAT. They provide a tea room for after, snacks, a dry sauna, a whirl pool, showers with shampoo and conditioner, wonderful robes.
I think if I came here again it would be with some girl friends for a big spa weekend. That’s for sure my recommendation

We were very excited to go to Wentworth by the Sea and made a two night reservation, over the Easter weekend. When I called to make an Easter brunch reservation, I was told that it was closed, to even its guests. I was so surprised; I was sure that this was a mistake. How can any amenity or occasion be closed to those that come for that very purpose? If that wasn’t bad enough, no one would respond to my inquiry. The manager did not call; the staff did not contact him, as they said they would; and Marriott Customer Care simply passified me.
I am an avid traveler, and homestly this is the first time I have written a complaint. What do I want you to know? I want you to know that Marriott is not primarily in the business of caring for there guests; unfortunately, we do not come first. Don’t allow them to reserve your stay, only to tell you later that you can’t be apart of their special events!

Excellent value. Great staff, clean and comfortable room. Restaurant had excellent food, breakfast buffet is great, the omelet chief is fun to speak with, wait staff helpful and friendly. Scott in the spa is worth the trip. outdoor hot tub fun in the winter. Chocolates are yummy. Bell hop & door staff are helpful.
Our 2 nights was very relaxing in this beautiful grand hotel — nice job Marriott.

We really enjoyed staying at this marvelous old hotel. The rooms with the premium water view are definitely worth a few dollars more. It’s a Marriott, so you get points for staying there.
The only negatives were the mediocre water pressure in the shower and the somewhat stiff towels.

Nice quiet luxury hotel. Warm welcome and great service. It’s on the small island but has easy access to the city as well as Hampton beach. You will find it great joy to drive out of the hotel and around the island. Perfect for vacation with your partner.

The premier wedding venue on the NH Seacoast. The staff is professional, the accommodations are 5 star, and the view unsurpassed.
Couples return to The Wentworth for years after their wedding to relive the memories.

I’d give it a 2.5 but we can’t give halfsies. It’s a lovely hotel with character and history. Nice staff. Dog friendly. Food is priced well. Full spa. Beautiful indoor pool. But the walls are thin and noise carries. Spa is very expensive. But my main pet peeve (and don’t get me wrong, I love kids) — hot tubs are not kiddie pools — children under 16 (7 – 11) in the hot tub with their goggles is just not right. Kids allowed to splash in tight quarters… Not cool.
The views of the well decorated and spacious rooms are distracted by the hallway noise or the biological orchestra of the room next door. For the cost of the hotel, I simply expect a different experience. It’s a lovely place for a getaway, but be aware of the noise factor.
