The Mistress of Spice is an artisanal spice blends producer in New Castle, Delaware. Our spice blends are a blending of all natural, aromatic herbs and exotic spices. Our blends are gluten and mono sodium glutamate (MSG) free. We do not use fillers, preservatives, additives, or anti-​caking agents.

I have been experimenting with spices and their unique flavors for about 23 years. I started blending when I discovered I had a sensitivity (MSG) Mono Sodium Glutamate.

I realized I had to change my diet. Unfor tunately I found out quickly that most of the spice blends or easy to prepare meals on the shelves of my local supermarket contained MSG. So I was faced with two choices, stop eating the things I loved to eat or get creative.

So I Got Creative…

I started this amazing rollercoaster of a ride with this creative love of cooking with flavor September 26^th of 2007.
