Got A Doc Walk In Medical Center at Philadelphia Pike is part of a network of urgent care centers located around Delaware and Maryland. Got A Doc was created to provide the community with an alternative to costly and time consuming emergency rooms and hospitals for treatment all non-​life threatening medical conditions. As a Medical Center each Got A Doc location is able to treat patients in a comprehensive and convenient manner with access to full on-​site laboratory and x-​ray services.

Walked out after 1.5 hours of waiting. They stopped me and offered to see me at that time. (Should have walked out) Diagnosed with strep and bronchitis. Dr gave me amox, said she doesnt like the zpack. (In my opinion it’s the fastest easiest treatment, so ill suffer it out a few days and head over to med express for a real Dr.)

Don’t waste your time here. I spent an hour and a half waiting to see the doctor yesterday for strep throat because my PCP was closed. I was told when I arrived that the doctor was taking a «short break» and wouldn’t be able to see me for at least 30 minutes. I told the receptionist that I would go home and wait because I was very sick and needed to lay down. She called an hour later to say he was back in, and I arrived three minutes later as I live around the corner. I waited 20 minutes only to hear that their office no longer accepts cash for co-​pays (What doctor’s office doesn’t accept CASH?!). She told me she would ask the doctor if he would take my cash, and after another ten minutes of waiting with no response, I got tired of listening to Eminem in their lobby (NOT the censored version) and left. I went to MedExpress on Concord Pike and was in and out in 30 minutes, WITH my prescription! I will go to MedExpress in the future if I need URGENT care.

This walk in medical center moved across the street from their previous location. I have been here 2times in one week. They open at 9 am., but the doctor is never there on time. This doctor is so unprofessional and is not considerate of other people’s time. I would not recommend this so called urgent care medical care facility. Thumbs down

They were very thorough, and did not make me wait very long. They helped me get to the conclusion I needed, and therefore feel better.
