John came the same day I called to take a look at my washing machine. He showed up as scheduled and was very friendly. He took one look underneath the washing machine and said, «Dude, I’m not even charging you… you need a new machine.» Obviously I was bummed to hear that I needed a new washing machine, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised that he did not charge me a penny. He could have easily charged the $ 69 service call fee, but didn’t. He recommended a specific washing machine to me (without any incentive to him) that he said would work for years. With all of the appliance guys out there looking to squeeze every dollar out of their customers, it’s nice to know there are some decent people out there still. I was able to put the money I saved into a decent machine rather than getting taken for a couple hundred bucks before him saying the washer was beyond repair. Even though John didn’t fix my washing machine he diagnosed the problem quickly and without charge. He’ll be my first call the next time I have an appliance issue.

My dishwasher was leaking lots of water and sounding really loud. I called A & J Appliance Repair early am on a Monday, and John was at my home before noon. A part was needed, which he found for me on line, and I was able to pay direct to the distributor for it. The part was delivered to my home the next day and John repaired our dishwasher by Wednesday afternoon. He was also very helpful with advice for other minor issues we needed help with, and gave us the proper contacts, who were equally helpful & responsive. I hope I won’t need them anytime soon, but would highly recommend A&J for repairs. The are honest. reliable and very prompt!

Called several companies and was relieved to talk to someone who would listen. Came out when they were scheduled and even called before. They quickly analyzed the problem with the refrigerator and it has never run better! Will certainly use again and recommend completely.

What a great service company. John is the most professional and prompt person. Definitely use him!

I wish I could give 0 stars. We’ve been having issues with our dishwasher since the day it was installed and they’ve been completely useless at repairing the issues. Beyond rude. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

These guys are useless. Patronizing, untalented, can’t fix a washer/​dryer. Didn’t listen to what’s wrong, charged a lot. Didn’t fix anything. Back where we started.

They are expensive but apparently won’t charge you a mark up on parts. Better not be sensitive to cologne fyi, I was airing out the kitchen for hours afterwards. Ridiculous. Less that a year later we have a same problem back, so don’t think I’ll be going back.
Also, recommended them to a friend and she had a similar experience as Karen S.
