Sam’s Chicken has been serving the best chicken in town since 1986. A small chicken shack in the middle of New Brunswick NJ, slowly grew to become the famous Sam’s Chicken & Pizza.

Deliver fast. Average food. But I find it hard to understand how they can call themselves a chicken place. The fried chicken is just okay. But do not ever order the chicken nuggets or anything else that’s typically frozen. Extremely poor quality and tastes freezer burned.

Don’t bother with the biscuits but the chicken and potato logs, for the price, are amazing. Bring quarters to make looking for a parking spot easier.

Went to Sam’s late on Saturday as many kitchens elsewhere were closed. A stroke of luck. My sandwich was excellent, the falafel was good, and the potato logs were something I’d drive a long way to have again. Also, the chicken was turning over (selling) like a house afire. It was 11 PM and large trays of chicken were still emerging from the kitchen. I withheld the fifth star simply because I made only one visit, so consistency is not something I could personally vouch for. However, any chance I get I will go back there.
