Planned Parenthood of Central and Greater Northern New Jersey, Inc. (PPCGNNJ) provides quality, affordable and accessible health care to teens, women and men through reproductive health services and sexuality education. We advocate for the privacy, dignity and right of each individual to control his/​her sexual and reproductive health.

We offer a wide range of reproductive health services, including birth control, well-​woman visits and annual exams, STD testing and treatment and HIV testing, pregnancy testing and options counseling, emergency contraception, breast exams and Pap tests, UTI testing and treatment, and abortion services.

We accept most insurances, including NJ Medicaid. If you do not have insurance, some services are based on your household income. Call us for more information.

You do not need an appointment for many services! Walk-​in appointments are available for: pregnancy testing, STD testing and HIV testing, Depo Provera injections, and birth control refills.

History

Established in 1932.

What began with a small group of volunteers calling attention to «the desirability of making motherhood voluntary and intelligent, rather than accidental and indiscriminate,» has grown to an organization serving teens, women and men in 11 counties and 16 communities in New Jersey. Along with the direct services that we deliver to our clients, we have been and continue to be a strong and clear voice advocating for reproductive and preventative health care rights.
