Beware New Brunswick Private lot towing scam! This guy Mark S. (AKA Auto-​Doctor or M&S Towing) tows cars from local property owners and tries to charge more than the New Brunswick statutory limit. He will ask for 100 – 150 to unhook your car after he slaps a hook on it then drives away with your car! This is an illegal shakedown scam. Call New Brunswick Police at 732−754−5200 and speak to Traffic Enforcement to get a cop on the scene. The police were really helpful when this guy tried to shake down my wife. The limit in New Brunswick for a private lot tow is $ 75.00. Mark S. knows this but if you don’t stick him to the law he’s going to stick it to you.
