Previous reviews state it has a lot of craft beer. If you are looking for the year round main stays yes they are here. I didn’t find any special releases and only a few seasonal beers, and no bombers to be found. I did see a lot of liquor and plenty of domestic beer, wine selection seemed average.
Parking is limited but it’s on a side street so not too difficult. Store didn’t seem too crowded so probably just not moving a lot of inventory but the staff was very nice and friendly.

This is a friendly, family run liquor store with a great selection of wine, kegs and craft beer. Joe’s is my go-​to when I’m in New Brunswick and always has what I need. The college memorabilia and photos on the walls are a nice touch. They’ve become a staple in the Rutgers community!

Honestly, I can’t believe Joe’s only has two reviews! On game days, they open at 9am which is perfect for when we want to tailgate. Parking in New Brunswick is terrible so the parking lot was so convenient! I was so surprised to see a whole wall of craft beers to choose from — some I’ve never even heard of before! The guys who work there were so friendly and helpful when I was trying to make my decision. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Joe’s is the best liquor store in New Brunswick! 20% off wine every Wednesday and the largest wine selection in the area. Family owned, great keg and craft beer selection! Parking lot right in front of the store which I love since I don’t have to search or pay for parking. I went in looking for a specialty French wine and Joe special ordered it for me. Talk about customer service! Once you try Joe’s for yourself, you’ll see why it’s the only liquor store I’ll go to.

Awesome Liquor place that sell mosty everything and anything with C2H5OH. Yes, thats the chemical formula for ALCOHOL ;) This is great. Its a great spot for college students, especially since most of the FRAT houses are around the corner. The place is ran well by management. Staff are always nice, and very helpful too.
This place is right across St Peters Hospital, or near it. So in case you drink a little too much, you can just walk right over to the ER.
