$ 3 drinks or at least i thought so. $ 10 minimum and spent $ 6 bucks. Did the right thing and tipped him $ 4 bucks. Got home and saw my card had been charged $ 20, called the place and gave me some excuse saying it would reflect correct in the morning… its the morning and and no correction. Not coooool mannnnn.

I have never had a bad experience here at knight club, but this time was the first time the bartenders were quite rude. I came when it wasn’t too packed. There were a few groups on the dance floor, but not too many people at the bar asking for drinks towards the end of the bar.
I asked one of the bartenders for a drink and she gave me a bothered look and said that she didn’t know what it was. I told her what it was and she said that she couldn’t make it for me for $ 4. Which is understandable, except for the fact that I get this specific drink every time I come here for $ 4.
I then approach the male bartender who I usually get this drink from. When my friend introduced me to this drink, this is the guy who he got it from, so I figured he would know what I was talking about. The previous bartender then approaches me while I am talking to him and says with an attitude that he is going to give the drink to me for the same price. This is fine except for the fact that every time my friend and I order this drink we get it from him for $ 4.
He says that he doesn’t know what I am talking about. This was confusing as a while ago he offered to make me the drink in a way that the price would only come out to four dollars. Instead of politely doing so again this time, after doing this for me on multiple occasions, he offers to make me a different drink which is similar. I agree and take the drink.
I really didn’t care what drink I got as long as it was good, but I didn’t enjoy how much of an attitude I got right from the beginning. I tried my best to explain everything politely and to the best of my ability, but the attitude made the bartenders very unapproachable. I would understand if it was crazy packed maybe, but it was not at that point.
Also, my friend who introduced me to the drink has been coming here for a while before I have, meaning that he has been ordering this drink here for a while from this guy and then he doesn’t seem to know what I’m talking about. The situation could have been easily handled in the beginning if the bartender I originally asked for the drink had just offered to make me a different one. I am not a bartender and I do not have extensive knowledge of these different types of drinks, so offering me another option would have been nice. The experience also would’ve been a lot more pleasant had she not given me an attitude from the beginning when I simply asked her for the drink.

The absolute and only reason that this bar gets a perfect score is because of Adrian and Matt! The best and friendliest bartenders I have ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with. It’s the best bar to come out and watch any sport of your choosing. I am a regular here and have to say these two guys make me come back again and again! The drink prices are GREAT and I can’t even express enough how much I love coming here because of the two guys mentioned above!

been coming here for about 4 years and its one of the best bars on Easton Ave. I used to pop in when I was younger to dance and go nuts and their back room is perfect for exactly that. now I come in a bit earlier to catch football, basketball, and hockey games and with 7 TVs at the main bar its the best place to watch anything. UFC, football, hockey, college sports, basketball, volleyball, olympics, etc. seriously. anything. Bartenders are great and the staff is awesome, however, specifically, Matt (the big white guy with the beard) and Adrian (another big guy usually with Steelers, Devils, or Mets gear) are easily two of the nicest, most astute, and genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know, let alone be a customer for. They make it hard to say «only one more» at Huey’s Knight Club because the staff is just salt of the earth and really goes the extra mile for the customer. just dont be an asshat (there is a no tolerance policy with assholes here) and you’ll have a good time. Good people make a good bar, and this is the best spot to be, period. Cheers to many more good memories.

The only reason it gets four instead of five stars is because I wish Rutgers bars were bigger. It can get really crowded in there but nonetheless, being a Rutgers alumni Knight Club is definitely my favorite bar on Easton Ave. The bartenders are usually friendly, they have the best drink specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as good music. It’s my go to!

I took my brother to this bar for his 21^st birthday and it was terrible.
I can list a bunch of reasons why (Expensive, dirty glasses, etc) but the one that really bothered me was that there was not any free drinking water available.
I was the designated driver for my brother and asked for a glass of water. The bartender gave me a bottle and said it was $ 2. I let him know that I just wanted tap water and he said they didn’t have any. I said I was the designated driver and he just held up the bottle with 2 fingers up.
This bar is greedy and irresponsible. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

A great place to meet with friends old and new. Friendly staff, great location and awesome environment. We will be back!

Came here on a Tuesday… There was an ALIVE bug dying in front of my face inside my shot. I told the bartender (Brett Favre looking old guy) and he did not seem to care. He simply spilled out the alcohol and used the SAME shot glass to then give me the WRONG shot (I ordered Fireball not Jameson). Then when i told him its the wrong shot he said to have some «dignity, and that the girls were taking Jameson». He then spilled that out (same shot glass still) and poured me the fireball shot. I left the place and will never come back. Racist bartenders. Both of them.

This bar was basically the pinnacle of my senior year of college. I went to Rutgers, lived on Easton Avenue, and out of all the bars I went to, have to say that this one was by far, my favorite.
Maybe I’m biased because I had the most fun here and never had problems at the bar, ordering drinks for my friends and me… but honestly, the set up suited the crowds.
Yeah, it would get massively packed and you’d encounter your fair share of shit-​faced antics, but as a whole, the workers are chill, the bartenders are pretty responsive, and the music isn’t complete crap. And like I said, the space itself was decent; the dance floor area is located all the way in the back, which is perfect, especially if you’re the shy type but have a tendency to drop it low or whatever after too many drinks. I say this because, if you go to RU, you’re going to see a lot of familiar faces. Which is a blessing and a curse. It all depends on who you know, and what you drink (if you go for mixed drinks, be careful: sometimes they make them super strong… which, again, could be good or bad… depending on your tolerance).
Overall, it’s at the top of my list.

The place is ok but the bartenders are very rude. If you don’t like people, don’t work at a bar. Their miserable faces are the last thing anyone wants to see while partying. The dance floor is always closed. Drinks are good but like I said, the bartenders really are sour people. Find another job if you’re going to be a misanthrope.

Visited from out of town for a football game and had a great time here after. Bartenders were friendly. Perfect number of TVs. Good prices. I highly recommend it to any out of towners looking for a solid college bar.

Pretty bad bar overall. The scene is decent enough, good mix of college kids and cute girls but the staff is horrendously insufferable. My friend and I were just enjoying ourselves, being respectful and keeping to ourselves, when the bearded manager comes around and goes on an immature power trip, to wit he yells at us and makes a scene in the middle of the bar. Everyone around us was having a good time until he decided to exercise his cool authority and shut the bar down. We finished our drinks and left. NEVER coming back because of the awful service

Awesome drink specials: $ 2 LITs on Tuesdays and $ 3 LITs on Thursdays. $ 4 shots and good music but can get overcrowded. Be prepared to wait in line on $ 2 Tuesdays. 3 stars because they are definitely understaffed and hence have extremely RUDE bartenders. One bartender refused to serve my friend drinks the entire night because she apparently didn’t like his attitude? And then when I tried to get drinks she refused to serve ME because she assumed I was getting drinks for my «rude» friend. Seriously?!

One of my go-​to bars in Brunswick as a Rutgers student! Loved this bar when I turned 21 and then after that, it got worse throughout the years — not sure it’s because I got older or the bar itself just got too divey. In it’s prime, this bar was awesome, cheap drinks and decent dance floor in the back. I was an engineering major so every time I would come here I would meet other RU students that I normally would not have met which was pretty cool. Two dollar Tuesdays are the best — $ 2 drinks which include LIITs, the classic Rum & Coke and others.

I have come the the Knight Club on a few occasions. They has some cheap drinks pending on the night of the week. This place tends to get shoulder to shoulder on those nights.
The music here is pretty good, the crowd is pretty young, and the lines don’t get o bad.

I am a rutgers student and this bar is so much fun. Their djs are usually good, drinks are fairly priced. The only negative is that it gets so crowded and sometimes really messy and frat basement like. Despite the sometimes fraty atmosphere in the back, you can play darts toward the front. My friends and I always come here first when we are going out. Very collegey at night. The bouncers are extremely nice (at least to me, I am a female)

I can’t believe people still go to this bar. If you’re into sweet LIT’s and rude bartenders. this is your place!
The best bar is OLD QUEENS. Great drinks and great bartenders! save yourself from this bar.

If you want a bar with a dance floor, this is the place to go. It’s not necessarily a «dance floor,» but usually you go to the back of the bar if you want to dance. If you just want to talk with a couple of friends, it’s better to stay closer to the front.
$ 2 Tuesdays are awesome, and that’s really it. Service is okay; not anything to brag about. Also, they started using plastic, disposable shot glasses, instead of actual shot glasses now. That BLOWS. It was really the only reason I preferred Knight Club over Golden Rail. The plastic disposable shot glasses are half the size of an actual shot glass, so you’re really losing out. I was happy to see that KC wasn’t ripping off college students like Golden Rail was, but I was wrong.
If you like plain beer or you’re a poor college student, I suggest getting $ 2 Miller Lites. They’re $ 1 if you go on Mondays. Otherwise, I don’t think the drink prices are worth it, unless you come here on $ 2 Tuesdays.

This is the last stop on the Easton Ave path… so what does that mean? Well quite simply one is already drunk when they arrive. I spent many nights at this establishment back in the day. The drinks are super cheap and the crowd is always very mixed. College bar for sure but a 25 year old can get away with a drink or two here as well. The bouncers, bar backs and bar tenders are on point here. Normally your community college, volunteer fireman types who have no issue snatching some drunk rowdy ass kid up and tossing them out.
This place gets beyond packed, like walk 15 feet and your ass gets grabbed three times packed. I never would see a line, I think they just let everyone in then when it gets way to crowded the DJ throws up «sweet Caroline» followed by any Bön Jovi jam which results in anyone darker than Derek Jeter heading to the nearest exit. Quite the crowd control strategy.

…since I fit that qualification, I have good times here hahaha. The music isn’t an amazing selection but something about the general vibe is always enjoyable here. The drinks are inferior-​quality but they’re cheap and you don’t go to college bars to enjoy the quality of the drinks, do you?
