Not as good as most phở places around the city. Had a coupon and they turned it down. Also other ppl feed back on small portions are true. They like money more than serving the customers right.

The chow-mien I had was very tasty and also the rice, I wanted more rice with the chow-mien but the women was not around to ask while I was eating my meal. My companion had a vegetable soup which I heard was very good. I tried a few noodles from the soup but I did not care for them. Will probably go back and try other things some time in future.

I want to like this place so bad, but every time I order the food is progressively worse. Stick with the Phở and you will be fine. Other than that even the fried rice was bad and tasted like it was bought at a grocery store and reheated.

Although not a connoisseur of Vietnamese soups, I’ve tasted many throughout the cities. I tried the beef Phở here and spring rolls. Spring rolls were ok and seemed rather haphazardly thrown together. The greens used inside were quite harsh and bitter. The Phở was mediocre. Compared to others around town, portions were smaller. What I really noticed was the amount of beef in the soup was pretty minuscule. 3 smaller slices of beef and 2 small meatballs. Broth flavor was ok, definitely had better. But as with all Phở, it’s served piping hot and is always satisfying even if it’s not the best around. Noodles and tasty broth just can’t be beat. I don’t think there’s many other options for Vietnamese soups in the area so if you have a hankering for it and don’t want to drive, it’s not too bad.

I love the beef phở. and Viet Noodle has the best cream cheese wontons in town. The gal owner is also super sweet and friendly. The egg roles and beef broccoli are also super delish! We get take out on the regular. Take out has never taken longer than 20 mins. Highly recommend this place

Taste of Phở soup is not bad. But only 2⁄3 pieces of meat in the whole soup bowl. But what I don’t like is the way they do business. In stead of giving receipt, the lady just told the price and take the change without asking. I am Asian and I understand we cannot expect good service from some small restaurants. I still go to some restaurants over and over again for the food although the service is not good. But I cannot tolerate about taking change without asking and being greedy. So, I will not go back to this place again.

Good Vietnamese for New Brighton. Good Phở, and yummy cream wontons. Take out is the fastest way to get their food. Recommend to anyone who’s not wanting to drive into St. Paul.

Delicious. Highly recommend the Phở and Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Noodle Salad, and Phở are all top notch. Clean restaurant and very friendly staff. This is a a great spot to experience authentic Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine.

I love coming here! One of my favorite spots for flavor, and personality. Lucy is always full of smiles despite hardship, or maybe because she knows what real hardship is. Either way, the Phở I always get is consistently great, and I want to hug Lucy every time I’m there. Never have anything negative to say about either the service and the food, all awesome!

I had the beef Vietnamese salad which the beef was grilled with no seasoning. The portion was small for the price. The weirdest thing was the owner gave us cookies after we were done with our meal. My wife had the egg roll Vietnamese salad and the egg rolls were your standard frozen egg rolls. The owner seems very nice, but the food was just not cutting it.

This place has the worst service I have ever experienced. I ordered the number 21 bun cha gia. I said the number and the name of the dish. I then got the wrong order. when I got home and realized it was wrong I called and told them they had gotten it wrong. the old lady told me that I was wrong and that I got what I ordered. 5 minutes later she calls back and tells me that I was actually right, but then told me that she wouldn’t fix the order because she can’t keep track of the numbers of orders that come in. this is unfortunate because this used to be our go to place, but this kind of customer service is terrible. I will never eat at this restaurant again.

So disappointed! We love phở and noodle salad but Viet is just becoming worse and worse throughout the years. The prices are high and the portions are so small! The noodle salad was $ 9+ and the smallest portion I’ve ever seen! Terrible and too salty! We will continue ordering from The Mirage in New Brighton instead.

Glad to have read review from Vy B pointing out this place. It’s not far from my hotel in Arden Hills and I will add it to my regular rotation of places to eat while in MSP. It’s a very small mom and pop place which takes CC’s. Had the Phở Tai and while I am used to a more complex broth I found theirs to be very tasty. The woman running the place was very pleasant and likes calling you«hon», which coming from an elderly Vietnamese women seems initially strange but becomes rather endearing later. Saw more wedos than I am used to at a Viet spot but all in all a very nice spot for hot phở in a cold environment.

Always fast & friendly service. Delicious phở & spring rolls! My family has been here 5 – 6 times over the past few years and we’ve been pleased every time. The restaurant has a warm, sunny atmosphere that is great for cold winter days. I was in & out today over the lunch hour with a belly full of phở & spring rolls within half an hour. The server seemed very mindful that I was in a bit if a hurry.

Viet Noodles is probably one of the few decent Vietnamese restaurants in the area, so I can appreciate this place for when I am visiting my parents and we are too lazy to cook anything. Similar to what others have said, I do think there has gradually been a change in the food here and it is probably because of a change in kitchen staff… like a transition from a Vietnamese person to a Chinese person. The stir fry items are a lot heavier on the oyster sauce and sugar and the soup broths are not as strong… which are subtle differences in Vietnamese and Chinese cooking. Anyways, the broken rice platter is pretty good, kind of expensive to add a fried egg, but still tasty. It’s broken rice with pickled carrots, meat pie, grilled pork chop, greens, and a fried shrimp thing wrapped in tofu paper. I also like the seafood pan fried noodles even though the sauce was on the sweet side but the portion is big and the crispy noodles are tasty. Overall, this is a good place to go if you are craving Authentic Vietnamese dishes and are in the area but probably isn’t worth driving across town for… but has the potential to hit the spot.

Unimpressed. Slow slow slow service. Food poor at best. 35 min wait for phở at lunch. 55 min wait for my spring roll. Broth watery. not much flavor. Basil well past its prime. Came here because of Unilocal recommendations. Really bad. Go visit a noodle shop in some other city. Then come back here

I had the grilled beef noodle salad(#14) an it was delicious! My friends had some of the lunch specials and they said they were average. One had Phở and he thought it was good. There is however a big problem, the service was very slow, it took 30 – 40 minutes to get our food. We also heard other people complaining about their Phở taking too long(soup should be fast right?). I would say this is especially a big problem during lunch, when people want to be in and out quickly. Other than that the place seemed clean and professional.

This place is FILTHY. My daughter had HAIRS… YESPLURAL… HAIRS on her Orange Chicken and there was a long hair on my plate. The the waitress had the nerve to try and charge me full price. I said no way… she took off $ 6.00. I was so blown away I just left. DONOTEATHERE. RATING: ZEROSTARS

Used to be good with original owners. I gave it 2 or 3 tries since they changed owners, but every time noticed the phở broth lacked taste like they were forgetting star anise and other key ingredients. I asked if there were new owners or new cooks, but the lady just said that additional partners were added, but the owners were the same. I guess the additional partners must be cooking the phở, cuz it does not taste like phở anymore.
