Full gym for adults and basketball courts. Lots of samalians around. 5 $ was inexpensive.

Good place for an event — for today, a business meeting of 100+. Extensive meeting room spaced. Adequate parking. Helpful to have a Subway restaurant on site, which many of us availed ourselves of at lunch. Lots going on here, including a Ramsey County library and children’s activities. Not as beautiful a location as some meeting sites, but it works very well.

I found this place online when looking for a place to take my nephew who is 6. The Eagle’s Nest Indoor Playground is the area that we have always gone to there.
Cost — $ 5 — heck there is very little in this world that you can do with a 5 year old that inexpensively. Loved it. Great value for sure.
Play away! My nephew has an absolute blast there. The only thing that I don’t care for is their ball pit. The entrance is only accessible by the children (the oldest maybe being 12, it’s tight). There is no limit on the number of children and the children are often way over excited and nearing slam wrestling each other. There are always the adults outside of that area (me included) telling the kids to get out, settle down or stop this or that. There was no access to get in there, kids are often crying and this is by no means a staffed area. I try with all my might to make sure my nephew doesn’t get in there. I wished they would either make this area accessible for adults, staff it with someone who wants to do crowd control or just shut it down.
Under 3? There is a quieter area for the littler ones to play. It is very dear and sweet. They have a ball pit in there too but you can grab at the kids if they start playing too rough. There are areas to read to the children and just have a quieter experience.
In general, I am happy to take him back there when he wants. I have seen birthday parties there, I would imagine that is great fun. Oh, and the other thing, the way the indoor area is set up, there is only 1 exit so as long as you find a good spot to see the exit, they are not able to escape without you knowing about :)

First time use today, probably the last. Lots of very rude kids, many of them have no WRISTBAND. It is a paid community center which I’m not sure but the staff has made no effort to check *the eagle nest area* or *the gym*. I did inform the front staff and her answer was we have had alot of that issues (No Wristband) which mean they are all aware this occur but seem to have not fix the issue.

I love this place. $ 5.50 per kid. Gym area and Play area with a sitting area right outside. There is also a toddler area inside the play area that is contained. The gym isn’t always open so if you’re looking to have your child run around, call ahead.

I’ve been coming here for a wide range of events, some of which are classes, scouting events, Eagles Nest, library visits & birthday parties. This place is pretty well organized and can get busy at certain times depending on the activity you’re doing. It looks like the workout area is nice too, from what I’ve seen. Although I’ll admit I’ve never used it. I’m more of a get outdoors and workout kind of person.
I only have two minor qualms with this place. The first being their pop is too expensive in the machines. The other being they had a hard time locating a park key I was supposed to pick up, which shows a little disorganization behind the front desk.
In short, they have a little bit of something for everyone. Go and enjoy!

First time at EN and it has good and bad just like anywhere. Good: reasonable fee; huge toddler area (esp compared to Edina’s Edinborough Park); bldg also has gym, library, and such if you want to mix it up. Bad: older kids constantly in toddler-​only area (Am I supposed to be the A-​hole that tells them to leave? Area should be monitored by employees every now and then.); the once rubbery floor mats now hard as a rock; showing its age.
I will rtn, but make a point to leave before school lets out. Gets crowded after 4pm.

Indoor play is important for a child’s development, and when it’s cold, or rainy, or cabin fever has you thinking nutty, the Eagles Nest Indoor Playground is just what the doctor ordered. An with the Ramsey County library now in the same building you might catch story time or a stack of books.

We used to live down the street-​before babies and the Eagles Nest indoor playground was on the horizon.
HOWEVER-​this was an awesome gym-​and very cheapl After my HealthPartners discount it was about twenty cents a month!
So now we don’t live two minutes away, but it’s still a great place to meet up with other friends that I have with children. The kids can play and we can talk… which is the best kind of a playdate… We’ve had pizza delivered before, or you can pack a lunch, both ways work, and there’s plenty of places to sit. No snack bar, but they have vending machines with ice cream, candy, and pop.
A couple days a week they have the gym sequestered off for 3 – 5 year olds to use scooters/​jumping house/​etc and sometimes I think they have a craft for a buck.
It gets really crowded, but if you come in the evening you get a discount and there’s more room for the kids to play.

Great place for young children. Nothing for teenagers. Good running walking track. OK exercise equipment. Nice place, but something is missing. I can’t put my finger on it. NO POOL or Water Slide! Go to Shoreview!

The Eagle’s Nest is an awesome place to bring the kids on a cold day, or any day! It has a separate section for toddlers not quite ready for the big slides and tubes. The $ 5/​kid price is incredibly reasonable. I can’t wait until my kiddos are old enough to take advantage of the «Overnight at the Eagle’s Nest» for birthday parties!
