Business started as a retirement hobby. A wine retail shop that deals in domestic and international wines hand picked by the owners for price and quality. Most inventory is under $ 20. Monthly wine tastings and special orders make our business unique from others in the local area. Our customer service and wine knowledge is the key to our business.

Meet the Business Owner

Dan and Diane M.

Business Owner

Dan retired from the National Park Service in 2005. The last few years before retirement

Dan and wife, Diane, lived in Washington. They developed their passion for wine while touring many of the wineries and vineyards in Washington and Oregon. Upon moving to New Bern in 2006 they started working for an internet company that did in home wine tastings. That really didn’t fulfill their dream of owning their own wine shop but greatly expanded their knowledge of wine and customer appreciation. So in 2010 after completing a college business course they opened their own shop. Dan and Diane are the owners and sole employees which makes the business a real mom and pop venture. Dan spends his spare time fishing the local waters and participating in the Chamber of Commerce and Homeowners Association. Diane is active in Coastal Women’s Group and Church Bell Choir. They both enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.
