History

Established in 1978.

deMello’s Furniture was founded by José V. deMello in 1978 in downtown Taunton serving the greater Bristol County and surrounding area. In 1985, Mr. deMello established a second storefront in the south end of New Bedford. Today our New Bedford site is home to all deMello’s Furniture showrooms and operations.
