Established in 1972.

Shockey & Company LLC, formerly known as Marian L. Shockey & Company, was founded in

1972 by Marian L. Shockey. The brokerage was what we would call a «traditional realty

company,» where the team focused in residential real estate in Franklin, Licking, and

Delaware county. The home office was based in New Albany, Ohio at 39 E. Main, across

from Eagles Pizza.

In 1986, Marian sold the company to her son, Brad, who still owns and operates the

company today. The company today has a more contemporary approach with real estate

including investments, brokering of commercial, residential, industrial and manufacturing

properties, appraising, building, remodeling, and more.

In 2006, Shockey & Co. LLC opened a satellite office in Vermilion, Ohio. The company focus

is the same it was forty years ago… to meet the needs of the client.
