Established in 2005.

After 26 years of working as a locksmith for other business owners I decided it was time to venture out on my own. Since then the business has grown as I pursued my locksmith work part-​time.

Business Owner

I began as a locksmith trainee for a Louisville hardware company in 1978. Eight years later I went to work for a growing company, also in Louisville, as a locksmith and remained there for 14 years, becoming a manager at one of the company’s locations. After managing a mobile locksmith company for 2 years, I became involved in commercial locks and hardware, full-​time, and opened Dave Kerr Locksmith Service as a part-​time business.
