We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful log home Bed and Breakfast located in rural Southwest Missouri. We are only 8 miles from the junction of two major highways and within 90 miles of the Kansas City area making us a short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Gathering Place Bed and Breakfast Retreat Center is the perfect place for those seeking a romantic getaway, those wanting a quiet retreat in the country or even the corporate traveler wanting more than just a hotel. We also cater to our own local Cottey College for young women and will gladly accommodate those needing extended stays with special rates. We trust the combination of friendly people, warm hospitality and peaceful surroundings in a beautiful log home will make your stay with us one you will remember always. Established in 2011.

We opened The Gathering Place Bed and Breakfast in the summer of 2011 because we felt others would enjoy spending time in the solitude of the country just as we do.
