In 1991, Aero Acton purchased his first set of tree climbing gear for a pine cone collection job and was promptly told to pick the top of a 150 foot tall pine tree. This first experience was terrifying and gratifying at the same time, and began what has become a lifelong love of tree climbing and tree care.

After completion of a Bachelor’s Degree at UC Davis in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry in 1998, Leaf it To Me was formed as a means to provide Nevada County with quality, science-​based tree care and landscaping.

Leaf it To Me, Inc prides themselves for having all the proper credentials, insurances, and following current industry standards. Aero is a Certified Arborist (#WE-​4022A) through the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) and is ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Leaf it to Me, Inc uses spur-​less tree climbing techniques for pruning trees. The health, safety, and beauty of your trees is their main concern.
