Jade Summit is an extraordinary Tea & Antique Shop, specializing in Fine Chinese whole leaf Tea: White, Green, Oolong, Black, and a variety of Puerh — both raw and ripe (‘Sheng’ or ‘Shou’). All the Tea is sourced (from various connections) for purity and high grade production, making this unique collection deeply refined. This is a real Tea lover’s Heaven… tucked away in the foothills of the Sierras.

Jade Summit also hosts an exquisite collection of (both Chinese and Japanese) Tea-​related antique wares and artwork: cups, bowls, teapots, plates, incense burners, scroll paintings, as well as antique furniture such as tansu, chairs, stools, and other artifacts. Very Rare — and still highly functional — treasures worthy of passing on through generations.

MJ Greenmountain, proprietor, also offers fully private Tea tastings, presentations, and ceremony (Chinese) during store closing hours. These range from 45 minutes up to 2 ½ hours, with various options, and are all complete immersion into the moment, where people are able to relax, step out of the ‘busy-​life-​style’ mode, and have a deep cultural experience with an ancient traditional art.
