Shanan is a rockstar, and I am so deeply grateful for her talent, presence, skill, and amazing culinary magic that shebrought to my yoga retreat. My students are STILL talking about it (9+ months later). She has set the bar extremely high for my future retreats. This is a public thanks to her for being so great in the pre-​event communications, the on-​site set up/​sensitivity/​scheduling, and making phenomenally mouth-​watering meals. I loved the menu, the sourcing, and her ideas for making everything extra special. (Like that Yuba Chai!!) Not to mention her plating was lovely. I am so grateful for her partnership for this special event; I look forward to doing it again.

Shanon Manuel provided a private cooking class for friends in my home. From our initial telephone conversation to plan the event to the execution of the class, she was organized, courteous and creative. The food was organic, gourmet and creatively presented. As a teacher, Shanon was relaxed and supportive during the hands-​on tasks. She offers catering for small and large group events. I look forward to the next opportunity to have her plan a feast.
