SecondHand Moving Co. LLC works with our areas youth to provide a job and a mentoring program. We have students that are working toward graduation from high school along with college students. Our focus is teaching our young men life skills and job skills. We do our best to help our customers move their belongings while our customers are helping to shape the lives of our young men! We are moving while mentoring!
History
Established in 2014.
SecondHand Moving Co. LLC started in November 2014 as a family owned business. We started with our family vehicle and a trailer. In the spring of 2015 we upgraded to a larger trailer. Then in July 2015 we upgraded to a 17ft moving truck. We have added load bars in the truck to load our customers belongings more efficiently and keeps items safer. We use both the truck and the trailer dependent upon the needs of each job.

Business Owner
Chris Theisen is the owner/operator at SecondHand Moving Co. LLC. Chris has much experience with moving. He has been well trained over the years of trucking and hauling large freight. He learned how to properly load a big truck with the freight to utilize the space which saved time and money with each load. He uses his past experience to load smaller items by using the space accordingly. He has had the opportunity to mentor students as a volunteer coordinator in his last position. He regularly worked with students, community service individuals and volunteers at an area thrift store. He has brought his experience with mentoring youth to our company, SecondHand Moving Co. LLC. He not only operates his own company, but now also volunteers at the same thrift store he was employed by with the students he employs.
