They destroyed my 2 year old lawnmower and never even called to tell me. So after 3 weeks of silence I called them and they want 170 bucks to fix it. The damn lawnmower was 350 new to start with. And that snake of an owner Jim, lied right to my face about making it right with me. Avoid this small town rip shop!!!

Called to simply ask if they had a U-​haul trailer for rent. put on hold for 5 minutes. hung up and recalled. on hold for another five minutes. called a third time and was put on hold yet again. this time to talk with a manager. just for them to tell they had nothing. waste of time considering the «customer service» person that answered could have told me an answer to begin with. With no apology from either customer service or the manger I will find else ware to shop for both U-​hauls and other hardware needs…

This store is a vanishing breed, a great hardware store in the era of big box lumber/​hardware retailers. That being said, what a find. As you walk in the door there is FREE POPCORN! There are lots of friendly, knowledgeable folks working here. There is an enormous selection, with fair prices. They even sell Carhardt clothes here. You can rent anything from a carpet cleaner to a tractor. In the summer, there is a fruit and vegetable stand in the parking lot entrance. Some days there is a fish purveyor set up in the parking lot. A real find.
