We specialize in teaching music lessons and dance classes. We have a staff of 20 experienced and University trained instructors that are excellent at teaching beginners through advanced. We also have over 25 years of musical instrument repair service. We rent band and string instruments to many area schools and students.

History

Established in 1995.

Founded in 1995. With 20+ years of teaching experience, we pride ourselves on having the best and most experienced teachers in the greater Boston area. Our philosophy is to inspire our students and provide a comfortable environment that makes making music and dancing enjoyable for all ages/​levels. Our studio provides on location private music instruction, at-​home private music lessons, preschool programs, adult and young adult ensembles, summer band camp, and group classes. Music lessons include: Voice, Piano, Drums, String Instruments, Band Instruments, Ukulele, Songwriting, Music Composition, and Music Theory. At Needham Dance the most important thing is FUN! Our Dance studio is equipped with a safe shock-​absorbing floor, and a full mirror. Dance lessons include Hip-​Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pre-​dance Rap Lyrical, Ballroom, Zumba and we are still growing!

Our in-​store location has the best pro-​horn selection in the greater Boston area including Cannonball, BACH, and Conn and Selmer.

Meet the Manager

Barry K.

Manager

Barry is a 26-​year veteran of the music industry. He managed Mr. C’s Music of Marlborough, MA for 10 years handling all aspects of business such as organizing the lesson program, repair and instrument customization programs, sales management, purchasing, and implementing POS systems. He worked on the wholesale side of the music business for the next 16 years representing high quality musical products in an 8 state territory to retailers and managing products and sales teams on a national level.
