I received my bachelors degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo and my MBA in Finance from New York University. I began my career at Haskins and Sells (one of the original «big 8» public accounting firms) and received my CPA certification in 1981. I spent time in both the audit and tax departments and then headed up the tax department at a privately held publishing company. Additional work in mergers and acquisitions at a large foreign holding company rounded out my experience. I started my accounting firm in the summer of 1988.
I’m a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).
