Business Owner

My career as a graphic designer began more than twenty years ago as a college intern for the school newspaper and the Boston Globe. At the Globe I gained experience in a number of journalistic disciplines, working in the Newsroom, the Editorial Design and the Sports Department and quickly discovered that my true calling was in graphic design.

In 1988, I began working at the Federal Reserve, creating graphic design projects for the Research and the Corporate Affairs Departments. Simultaneously, I enrolled in a Graphic Design program at Northeastern University to sharpen my skills and recently completed a Master’s Degree program in Leadership and Marketing at Northeastern University.

I eventually realized that the career move that would provide me with the most challenging projects and interesting clients along with the flexibility to balance work and family was to start my own consultancy.
