Stay away! We hired Needham Mechanical/​Energy (Same Owner) to convert our oil system to gas heat. Extremely bad mistake and I will never call them again. This is my first Unilocal review I have ever written. Thought I had to do it because of how bad Needham Mechanical’s/energy service is. We dealt with an over eager sales person who over promised my wife and I on several occasions that they would get the job done the right way. We specifically asked him three times if the work they were going to complete was going to work with our specific system (split system) and he assured us there was going to be no issues after they had a technician conduct an onsite visit. I am sorry to say that a large portion of my house is not being heated right now on my main floor. Including my kids playroom where they spend most of their time. I called the owner directly to talk to him about the issue. His team had very little knowledge about my heating system when I called to discuss and had no answer for the problem that I was dealing with, which to me seems like a common situation that they must come across. The worst part about the experience is that the owner took absolutely no blame for the lack of knowledge, no blame for his sales person who overpromised to get the sale and under delivered on the job (then pretended we never had that conversation in the first place). This is not a company that I will ever do business with again and I plan to share this experience and lack of customer service with my neighbors so they don’t make the same mistake.
