I work close to this place, so was thrilled to find a place for raspados! Unfortunately, I was sadly dissapointed. The place is clean, and nicely decorated; however this place is mainly «Las gorditas» Los Pinguinos is in one word: Horrible! I ordered a mango and pineapple, and was given peach. I have a feeling that it would not have made a difference, since I couldn’t taste any of the fruit anyway. Just sugary syrup. I threw it away. The worst part is the price for this cup of shaved ice with syrup: $ 4.30 They charge extra to combine the flavors and also to add lechera! (.50) If you want to have a real good raspado at a great value, go to El Ranchero factory taco shop. Its a drive, but worth it!
