Hibachi San

Decent price really yummy food I do recommend this for being mall food. Sushi is good and especially Angus steak and teriyaki chicken! Order with noodles so yummy

Good but not worth the money. They give you a whole lot of rice and a pinch full of meat. I can go somewhere and get way more Then what they give.

My son got some Cali rolls from here and ate them all up. They even had cool little chop stick helpers for him as well. Customer service was nice and friendly… I even got to try their new roll up very tasty. My son had extra rolls he didn’t finish so I asked if they can refrigerate them while we shopped and she gladly said yes!!! Talk about nice!

I ordered the shrimp plate and my husband ordered the steak and shrimp. The amount of shrimp and steak was SO little there was so much rice. This is not worth the price! My husband and I were so dissatisfied! We could have gotten more for our money elsewhere! Not coming back!!!

Horrible customer service!
When I asked waitress to give me some extra napkins, she gave me just one. Also, when I asked her again she started laugh me in a face and didn’t give it to me. Waitress was so rude!!!
I couldn’t understand her behavior, special when I paid for food and service.

Normally I wouldn’t get any sushi unless I saw it made, however, I took at chance at Hibachi-​San at Plaza Bonita mall and was pleasantly surprised. Since at the other food around it was fried or greasy looking, I gave it a shot. Customer service is always a big deal to me, so they also got a star for being polite and informative. Thanks again for a good lunch.

Horrible service!!! Took forever due to the gentleman named Joseph at the grill who was also extremely rude. He seemed irritated people were waiting. There were 10
Plates lining up because it took forever. The worst part was my sister order after me and got steak and shrimp. She got her order ahead of mine then when the chicken was finally done 10 mins later and handed out Joseph looks at the slip and tells me OH another 3 mins because he forgot to put on the shrimp. The food was good and the cashier was very helpful (Daniel) only reasons I gave this place a 2^nd star but the wait til could’ve been avoided and handled with more respect. I will not go here again and instead head over to the Panda Express with better service!

Only giving this place 2 stars simply because it satisfied my hunger at the time. This may have been my 3^rd try at this place (not my choice) and each time the food was mediocre. I’d have to say after trying the beef, chicken, and shrimp teriyaki, there’s really no distinguishing tastes between the 3 dishes due to the sweet watery sauce.
Maybe next time I’ll just grab a bite outside the mall, I think I’ll have better prospects!

Well for food court faire, it ain’t half bad. The portions are respectable but used to be bigger. One star for friendly service, 2 stars for custom order done right. 3^rd star for hot/​fresh/​tasty food. Winner, winner, Japanese dinner!

I try to stay away from the mall franchise food joints. MC D’s tastes even worse when you have it from a mall. Or an airport. Or a McDonald’s.
Next time you find yourself hungry at Plaza Bonita Mall, do yourself a favor and skip Hibachi San. The sauces are über sweet and salty at the same time (a culinary miracle!) and the meat is questionable at best. I thought I’d be safe by going with the Teriyaki beef, but what I got was Teriayki gristle. Yum! The only redeeming quality about this place was the service at the counter. Very nice people working there and the food (and I use that term loosely) came out very quickly.
IF YOU GO– although there’s a lot of options at the Plaza food court, none really stand out. I mean it’s a food court at the mall. I recommend anything but Hibachi San.

This place used to serve a decent amount of food when it opened almost a year ago. Now, if you order shrimp with teriyaki chicken or beef, you only get seven sad pieces of shrimp with a heaping pile of rice. What’s up with that? I want my protein! You’d seriously get a bigger bang for your buck at Hibachi-San’s cousin restaurant, Panda Express. Better yet, order a Philly Cheesesteak at Charley’s. My old favorites will always be Gengis Khan and Phở Express.
