Evans Tire & Service Centers

I called their service center first and James helped me out, and got me the best price than anyone else. I got to Evan’s tire the next day and they got me in right away replace my tires very quickly but no one told me my truck was done. I had to go up there and ask myself… The one and only thing I don’t like about Evan’s tire is the replacement of a tire that is not fixable they charge the installation and other things. Discount tire does not charge for all that, only the certificate wich cost about $ 12 but with Evan’s is about $ 48. Overall good service.

Good service, just walked in with no appt. Javier was very nice and it only took about an hr. Got 4 new tires and an oil change.

I would have rated no stars.
My appointment was at 11am. I arrived around 10:30. I asked how long it would approximately take. About a hour. My vehicle didn’t go into the bay till 12pm and was out 40 minutes later.
So, I guess 2 hours would have been a better response.
I gave 2 stars because customer service was decent.

I am a very picky customer and at times I can be very demanding. I am also an Industrial Organizational Psychologist that has a history of working with over 500 organizations and businesses on customer satisfaction. In my thirty year’s experience working with businesses of every type (as a trainer and a consumer) I can only tell you that Manny (the manager) and his team at the National City Evens Tire & Service Centers are the «BEST» by far in demonstrating «SUPER» quality customer service! I had some issues with the first set of tires they put on my car and they did everything they possibly could to make it right and they took care of me and I am very confident that they will take care of you! The way they treated me, (like a valued customer), and the manner in which they serviced my car, I would find it difficult to believe that anyone would not experience the same. As far as I am concerned, Evens (run by Manny and his team) are the epitome of customer service excellence. I will definitely have my car serviced there again and I «HIGHLY» recommend their Center to anyone!!!

In a nutshell. I was a lady in distress. I needed to pick up my daughter from school and had a completely flat tire. Javier and Jorge helped me by fixing the flat tire and even rotating my tires. This type of professionalism is why people become life customers. Customer service at its up most. They informed about different needs for my specific car for maintenance and options. You can’t buy integrity in a business. Your employees either have it or don’t. EVANS TIRES EMPLOYEES ARE THE BEST!

Made an appointment for a tire rotation and brake check. I was told it could take up to 1 ½ hours. My car was done in less than an hour. Javier was very helpful. He showed me the brake guide and that my brakes were still good. How ’bout that? The only negative was getting out of that parking lot at lunch time. It is rather chaotic.

I was there last month because my 2008 Nissan sentra needed an alignment. I paid $ 80. They told me my car was going to be ready in two hours but I stayed there for almost 4 hours waiting for my car. After two days my car was still going to the right. The alignment that they did, it didn’t work. I took my car back to them so they could fixed. Once again they told me my car was going to be ready in two hours but this time I waited more than 4 hours. At the end they told me that they didn’t do a good job the first time because my car needed new tires. I bought new tires a month before taking my car to them. I felt like they were just trying to sell me more stuff and not aligning my car property just to sell me their products. Since I am 22 years old it looked like they were trying to take advantage of me. After the second I took my car to them, my car wasn’t fixed and I just went somewhere else where it was cheaper and they really fixed. I didn’t like this location and customer service sucks. I don’t recommend this place to be trusted. They will try to take advantage of you if you don’t know that much of cars.

My boyfriend came in with his tundra for a tire rotation. Carlos greeted us with a warm welcome and was really helpful. My boyfriend just came back from a weekend of off roading and his wheels and tires weigh close to 100 pounds. As we went to pay, Carlos said it was on him since my boyfriend was a previous customer.
My boyfriend said when his new suspension comes in he’ll be ordering some toto open country in 35s from them for sure. Great people working here, made us feel like we were friends and at a small mom and pop shop. Thanks once again Carlos.

Great prices. but the wait time is always lengthy. I scheduled an appointment. .but i still waited over 2 hrs for a oil change and rear brake pads changed. thats it! Still would come back, however i would recommend canceling any plans for later if you decide to wait there. Customers meed to understand that the mechanics are human and operate on their own pace. They are not machines. It would be nice if it was faster. Id rather have the job done right. than quicker

This location’s services were remarkable! My cousin recommend me to this location and told me to ask for Manny. I did exactly what she said and I have to say that Manny and his team at Evan’s Tires are above and beyond. Manny is extremely knowledgable and was able to help me out with a great affordable price! Manny store manager in National City, Ca literally saved my life! I was heading out Weds night to get married in SF and I was told after getting a car check up that I would need new tires ASAP. I would not make it to San Fran from San Diego on my tires. Frantically I called around for prices since I was NOT budgeting new tires for my wedding & Evans Tires were the most affordable and could see me last minute before I headed out Weds night. Manny understand my situation & worked with me! I am so appreciative of him & his team for seeing me on such a last minute notice & staying after to accommodate my car. Because of Evans Tires, Manny & his team I got to SF safe & was able to marry the love of my life! Thank you once again Manny!

Absolute WORST tire facility I’ve ever been to. I used to get my tires done here all the time but I had a problem a few years ago in which they told me it would be a couple of hours, which extended to five. Then, I dropped my truck off here last year for an oil change. I came by after work to pick it up and it was still lot done– SEVEN hours later. Needless to say, I left without the oil change.
Yesterday, I decided to give them another chance. I came in for my 2:00pm appointment but the tires had not been delivered, I was told it would be another day. I came in today for my 12pm appointment and was told my truck would be 1.5 — 2 hours. I’m here almost three hours later and they haven’t even started working on it. Unbelievable. And the manager, Manny, has the attitude that «things happen». The simple process of taking tires off and putting new ones on AND KEEPING THEIR PROMISES ABOUT TIMETABLES/​APPOINTMENTS has proven to be beyond Evans Tire’s expertise. I have a call in to the district manager, we’ll see if I ever hear back.
With so many other tire facilities in the area, there is no reason to come to Evans Tire. Steer clear of this place.

Hey guys evans tire is on point. Manny hooked up my tundra with tires brakes and nitrogen for a sick price. Going back soon to finish up the work.

Manny and his team diagnosed and repaired our tire quickly and professionally. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, I was assisted promptly. Our family will definitely be returning here for all future tire needs. Thanks again to the Evans team!

Best prices within this area and decent waiting area with television. However, the manager’s customer service is bland, the restroom toilet doesn’t work with water squirting everywhere. No toilet seat covers or paper towels to dry your hands. Come on fellas

Need to make sure everything is good so that the customer doesnt have to return twice. three times. to get the job repeated on inconvenience of time. all in all good service.

Came into Evans tires the other day because it felt like the air in my tires were low. I just love a free service for their valued customers (which is all of us). They checked all of my tires for free and filled the ones that needed more air. I just love Evans!

This is the worse place, the manager was to rude with me, they broke a piece from my car and they dont want be responsable for that, they want i m pay 90 dlls for replace my pieces, i called my mecanic because i dom t have money for that, and i m ask my mecanic how much is the pieces cost and he toll me just 7.00 dlls each, i need 2, i said what? On front on the evans tires manager an he start yelling me and i can t hear my mecanic on the phone, i said if he can be silence and he still yelling me i was so mad and toll him he need respect the customers and he said he don t care costumer s, well he s name is jose nuñez, i domt know if is he real name but he is tall and fat, i hope you think before you put a feet on this store.

Explain to me how you don’t offer alignments to lowered cars… IN NATIONAL CITY? Do you not see how many hondas ride on springs/​coils?
My boyfriend got his car aligned at Evans Tire in El Cajon but his car seemed to veer to the right still, so we called this one up to check how long the wait would be. The guy said if we came at that moment we would be next and we rushed over; we were there in no more than 10 minutes. A guy approached us and asked what we needed, we said an alignment. He asked if the car was lowered (as if he already couldn’t tell) and we were denied when we said yes. We explained how it got aligned in El Cajon and he said «then you’ll have to go to El Cajon». What a fucking waste of lifetime alignment when this place is close and we can’t even align our car!
I’d give them ZERO stars if I could. Ridiculous customer service.
