Elvies is on Fox 5 news this morning. According to the news cast the National City Police Dept has found 7 people duped by Elvie’s Boutique. They’re either paying cash to go to the Philippines and not getting the services they expected or have been completely robbed of their money. Detectives are actively looking for the owner. They’re asking if anybody has been a victim of this place to come forward and speak with the police.

Please save yourself a headache and money, don’t do any business transactions with this person Mr. Ernesto A. I bought a plane ticket last January of this year for a flight for May of this year, paid him with check which he encashed within three days I was given a confirmation number then only to find out after checking numerous times with the airlines it was never confirmed because this person never did pay for my tickets, after promising me numerous times that it will be confirm soon he keeps on saying about a promo that he has been waiting for, I initially tried to give him a benefit of the doubt after all he is Filipino he will never dare to scam his own countrymen. One day, after calling him and texting him few days before my flight for my itinerary he never did answer and you cannot leave a voicemail on the answering machine because it was always full. I went to his office and met several people trying to get hold of him and get their money back some people are waiting for a confimred ticket with the same problem, some of them bought a roundtrip ticket only to find out on the day of the return at the airport in Manila that they don’t have a ticket because this guy only bought a one way ticket, up to this time they did not get my money back. It was a nightmare, I finally bought another ticket so I can go to the Phillippines as planned. I guess the BIG RED FLAG IS HE DOESN’T WANT TO USE CREDIT CARD, HE ONLY WANTS CASH AND CHECK. HE IS NOT ENDORSED BY BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HE GOT AN F, AND THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AGAINST HIM. My Mom got hospitalized few days before our flight because she got stressed out about the situation. He promised to pay me back but the day that we are supposed to meet at his office never showed up and never answered calls from me. I AM GIVING HIM A NEGATIVE 5, FOR REVIEW, BUT MY REVIEW WILL NOT BE POSTED, SO I WILL CHOOSE 1 STAR SO PEOPLE CAN SEE THIS REVIEW. TO ALL THE FILIPINOS PLEASE DON’T BUY A TICKET FROM THIS BUSINESS. TO OTHER VICTIMS PLEASE POST YOUR EXPERIENCE HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED I DON’T KNOW WHY HE IS STILL IN BUSINESS UP TO NOW. Don’t go here. My moms flight was cancelled last minute. The guy «Nestor» doesn’t answer his phone. Went to the place, it’s closed. No communication what so ever. Worst place ever

This place sells clothing, but their MAIN business is a travel agency. Consider doing business elsewhere before going here. Try Sun Cargo in National City.
It may be alright to buy clothing here, but I would not recommend doing business through this travel agency. They do not issue «E tickets» here, but give you a worthless intinerary instead. Booking reservations are changed without your notifcation and your new booking will be the same destination but with long layovers. We were charged one price for the original trip. On the rebooked flight we were not charged additional fees, but I highly suspect the ticket prices were lower in order to give this agent some type of «profit» instead of keeping our original booking. The economy is not doing so well and the dress shop in this building may NOT be making any money, so I suspect the agent must be «creative» in order to make money to pay the lease and other bills. What a pity. I will not do business here again and will tell all my friends how the agent treated me as well. By the way, he is a nice guy, just not completely honest at times. Beware.

Complaint: My parents purchase 2 Airline Tickets to fly to the Philippines & paid $ 2060.00 in total cash. I called ****** ******** to see if my parents ticket has been issued & to make sure that they have wheelchair upon their arrival to Korea & Philippines. My parents are 75 yrs old & I wanted to make sure everything is taken care of before their flight. I came to find out that the tickets has not been issued. I called ****** who is the travel agent & he said he processed it already. Two days later, I called ****** ******** again & tickets has not been issued yet. I called ****** again & again he said he will take care of it that day. Three days passed, I called ****** ********, sure enough no tickets has been issued. For the third time, I called ******, I wanted a refund & he said no we did not have to go there as he will take care of the issue that day. My parents went to his office & he was not there because he had to take his clients to the airport. So NO ticket has been issued until now. Please help me advertise that Elvie’s Botique & Travel is not the place to purchase any tickets or do bussiness because ****** is not doing his job. My parents should have their tickets issued already & I literraly do not even have to call him as the tickets are already paid in full. I do not know why the tickets are not issued & what he did with the money. He has too many excuses. Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you.
Desired Settlement: I want a refund &/​or penalize ****** for not doing his business right & not providing great service to people. He lies to client just to do service with him. thank you

Get your travel tickets a Sun Cargo in National City. The owners are honest people and they also sell balikbayan boxes and handle sending them to the Philippines.
