Car Audio City

Car Audio City continues to deceive the public. They have two separate business names, one advertised on the front door, and another one that they charge credit card receipts to.
Make sure to take a careful look at your invoice, they add labor into the equipment cost so that then apply tax to that, This allows them to collect more money pretending that it is sales tax but they don’t turn that money into the state.
He also will sell you LED headlights that prevent your brights from working. He said after the install that I never specified that I wanted my brights to work. Who buys new low beams that prevent your high beams from working? Instead of installing the kit we agreed upon, he picked a cheap Chinese kit that cost 15 bucks instead of 150 for parts. This is the type of business you are dealing with Car Audio City.
Make sure you check your receipts as the son of the Owner, Mohammed Farha does not care.

Got me in first thing in the morning and had my car ready to go by the estimated time. Have to give much respect to a business that delivers on everything they say they would. «D» even took the time to show me how to work my newest installed addition. Will definitely recommend and come back for future work.

Amed was awesome… Stopped by to price a stereo, because I just had a hair pulling experience with Best Buy… Left 1 hr 20min later with a new stereo that had EVERY feature I wanted!

Took in my g35 to get a double den but was looking at almost 700 dollars he said, so i ended up getting a aux port installed, but when I got home I realized that I had some cracks on my dashboard that were not there before and some of the stereo pieces loose due to the fact that the one who installed the aux port broke them so now they don’t click in properly. On top of that while I was there 3 costumers went back because they were not satisfied with the work done on their cars.

Emad was amazing got us some good deals and showed us how to work everything def. Will bring my truck in as well!

Hoping it goes better this time… OK so got a better amp installed. Let’s see how it goes before I say… hot damn this place is the spot to go for installations… most definitely got to give EMAD a freakn 10 stars for his excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE and his respect for the customers. thanks to the installer guy. don’t think he understood me tho but let’s see how his skills turn out. once again thanks EMAD you got mad knowledge of your profession…

The service here is almost unreal, I couldn’t have found better quality then this place. This place is definitely where it’s at if you’re looking to Pimp your ride! Besides the incredible upgrade at a very reasonable I can’t stress enough how good people like Emad will take care you. Take my word for it, you definitely won’t regret it

So I came in today for the first time. Never her’ed of this place before till I looked on the Internet for audioCity found this location and saw it had the best reviews. The guys where very friendly and approachable and willing to help you and be patient all at the same time. if ever you come in Yaster one of the guys that assisted me today was pleasant enough to not only give me a good deal but give an honest opinion of what I should have gone with. If ever you stop by come to this guy and all the the employees hear actually.

Came in not knowing what was wrong! Emad checked it out and gave me a good deal on an amp for my ride. Planning on coming back for my subs and my window tint!

Amazing customer service! I spoke with Emad! Told him I wanted to get a new stereo in my car. He explained to me which one was best. Installation was fast & right to the point!

I always make the 30 minute drive to this place when I need any audio work. Full sound system in my car for a great price and sounds 100X better than stock. Emad is always straight and to the point with answering any questions. Definitely recommend this place for any kind of work.
They do window tint as well. I haven’t done it on my car but I’ve seen some of their work and it looks perfect.

This place was definitely an experience. The salesman Emad hooked me up with a stereo system and a rear view camera for a decent price, and he made the wait for my car to get done an enjoyable and comforting one. I will absolutely go back to this place for further assistance when it come to my vehicle’s entertainment needs and refer anyone and everyone to go to CAR AUDIO CITY!

Absolutely worst place I’ve ever conducted business. Lied to me about cost of installation and parts. Went ahead and did things to my vehicle before I approved it then wanted to charge me for it when they never asked me if I was ok with it. I definitely didn’t pay for that though!!! Caused my car to have electrical issues, my rear camera never worked, Bluetooth was in and out all the time, my car’s electrical computer system ended up dying out, caused my car to shut off on me numerous times because they did a complete rewiring without me approving it and once they did it, it was too late to switch it back. I can’t make this stuff up!!! Do yourself a favor and never do business at this place and spread the word. If this had zero stars that’s what I’d give.

I’ve been to this place twice. Both times I’ve seen Emad. Seriously, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. He is so friendly and so helpful and he does whatever he can to make sure you get what you want. I recently upgraded my husbands P-​2s to P-​3s and he gave me honest reviews and ensured the job got done. On my last visit, the fuse was melted, and again he was tremendous help. He always takes care of me and is a great employee. His customer service is 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Emad is awesome, he has sold me my full system on my 2010 dodge challenger RT. My remote start viper is working excellent. Including HID headlights and fog lights. I’ve been a customer since 2011.

Last Saturday I visited Audio City on the corner of Highland & 30^th in National City and had work done on my new car. I spoke and dealt with an employee by the name of Emad. Keep in mind, I’ve visited Audio City a few times in the past but never have I experienced the treatment that I received last Saturday. Emad demonstrated professionalism and took great care of me. I’ve done some shopping around for the best prices to have my car windows tinted and yes, I’ve found a few places that offered the exact same warranty and with a slightly cheaper price, but being that I received such excellent customer service from Emad I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere.
Thank you for the exceptional service I received Emad and I will MOST DEFINITELY tell my family and friends of Audio City.

Been here twice already brought my Nova And Challenger and i have to say they do compete for a reasonable price. Remember you get for what you paid for but i have to say i am overall satisfied and for the price. Although the car was a bit messy after installation, guessing vacuum was not working Emad was kind enough to accommodate me for future installations because i have to say i will be coming back soon. Check em out.

I recommend this place! I have a 05 corvette and I came here for an emergency and ever since I come here for everything! When you go make sure to ask for EMAD and he’ll hook you up!

This is the best car service that I have ever been to in San diego. They do quick and easy installations and help u get the most for ur money. The guy who works there is name Emad Farha and he’s a really chill and cool dude. He help me fix my speakers and get a new sound system for a great price. Highly recommend you all check this place out!!!

I want to give a shout out to audio city, I am very impressed with their work and was really satisfied with their customer service and prices.

The work quality in this establishment is nothing less than accommodating. Not only did Amad give me a BOMB price on P3 subs but he also threw in an additional box for FREEE. I was on a budget so it was nice to have a guy like Amad work with me.
I used to go to the audio shop right across the naval base on Main Street and this one is by far more superior. I highly recommend these guys! Just tell them the Luigi brothers sent you and you’ll get an instant hook up;)

I paid for a system which included four speakers, two amps, and a head unit. It turns out only two speakers were installed, one amp was installed and the installation was of very poor quality with wires loose and damage to my vehicle.
To top it off they charged sales tax on labor which is illegal. My invoice was a handwritten invoice and was written in a very confusing manner. Based on the fact that I made payment to Prime Audio including sales tax when I was actually at Audio City clearly demonstrates that the there is something fishy going on and it smells a lot like there is tax fraud going on.
I purchased a car system from Mohammed the «owner» of the company. Although you might think you are in Audio City, credit card transitions are rung up under Prime Audio. Check your credit card receipt and make sure that your receipt says Audio City. I purchased the system at on the spot without doing research which was a huge mistake on my part. It turns out nothing in the store has price tags for a specific reason, the prices change depending on how much they think they can get out of you. I paid about 3x the going rate for a system at other shops in the neighborhood. I got taken advantage of because I felt I could trust the owner, that was a huge mistake.
When I went to the store to confront Mohammed on the fact that he completely ripped me off, the owner didn’t seem to care or feel bad in fact he refused to give me my missing speakers that I paid for, nor would he give me the amp I paid for. He told me to sue him… I have never seen such arrogance and blatant fraud from a business in my life.
Only when he found out that the credit card company is giving me my money back did he call me. His attitude change, after telling me to sue him he suddenly changed his tone when he found out the credit card company was going to give me my money back due to the fraud he committed. He cried to me that his father who was the real owner will be very mad at him and that he was in a lot of trouble. He cried on the phone begging me to let him make it right as he was already in trouble with his father. I was honestly shocked that such an aggressive man would be sobbing on the phone. Against my better judgement I gave him another chance to make it right.
His solution was for me to drive down on my own time, to have him remove my equipment to which I was going to agree to. The only stipulation was that he had to fix the damage he caused from his careless and sloppy installation. I also said I wanted to have another company do the work as I don’t trust his company will do the right thing. He refused to fix the damage he caused. It became apparent to me at this point that I am dealing with a criminal who can’t be trusted to tell the truth or fix a problem that he caused.
There are many other shops in the area that will treat you right. Do yourself a favor and check their reviews out carefully. Many people have been scammed the same way by this company… Do your research and you will save a lot of time, money, and aggravation.

Rip off specialist, went to go get HIDS, but after getting it done moisture was getting inside the headlight, so I went back for they would «fix it ». Went twice but moisture was still getting inside the headlight … Besides that the bulbs went out in less than 3 months and was really expensive… Decided I was done with them and went to another shop, and they checked the work they did, and they had WIRES and EXTRA WIRES HANGING from behind the headlights !!! They had also left a pair of pliers behind the bumper and as I had suspected, they had broken my headlights from behind, no one should go to this place, they are expensive, they obviously don’t know what they are doing and the quality of there products are horrible

Recently Purchased a Pioneer AVH-​X2700BS from Audio City Cause a car I bought had no Bluetooth. IT’S AWESOME!!! And it was installed in no time. the customer service is great. they made sure to answer any questions I had. I would definitly recommend this place. also this device doesn’t need preset messages I’m alble to send a regular msg over my device.

Let me tell you those guys at audio city they hooked me up! I was treated like V.I.P. the installation was fast in and out in no time And now I have a super sound system!
So if want the best? Get it from «Audio city»…GO BIG OR GO HOME”

Awwwwwwesome.
We bought a stereo & speaker set at best buy and they were asking $ 80 extra for installation. We walked in here and originally he said $ 90 for the speakers & stereo, but when we were ready to walk out he said he’d do it right now for $ 60. Thaaaaaank you! You have no idea how grateful we are for that.
It only took about 45 mins and they had 3 – 4 cars ahead of us. When it was done the guy who fixed it actually fixed my broken door handle! Thank you agaaaain! You guys are great :)
