Accesorize it

Please DON’T GO IN TO THIS BUSSINESS IF YOU WANT TO DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR!!!
The so called «technician» taking care of the «repairs» is nothing but a thieve, a liar a con artist and he will do it with a straight face and question you back with confidence.
I dropped my I phone and the nightmare began:
1.- This person took more than 4 hours to switch the faceplate and the back plate of my phone and charged me $ 150 dollars when he had said that it was going to be $ 100 because he stated that the home button wasn’t working properly so he had to change it. So, I said fine.
2.- When I got home so happy with my colored I-​phone … my volume buttons weren’t responding… So I went back, and he said that it was probably my fault because of regular wear and that I didn’t catch it… So, I agreed to a $ 40 repair. He took over two hours this time.
3.- Already skeptical … I asked him to show me that the volume buttons worked. After a couple of days, I noticed my vibration wasn’t working. So, I went back and he didn’t take any responsibility. He said that it was very common for that to happen especially if I carried the phone around in my purse and that he would leave it at $ 40 dlls that it was usually $ 60.
4.- After 5 days my I phone drops from about a foot distance from my knees onto carpeted floor! And It completely cracked front and back! That made me realize this guy is selling me crap merchandise! So, I took a deep breath and went to another of their locations at Kobey’s Swap Meet Space A-​9, to do the repair there where again it was my fault, nothing they could do, except I didn’t have to pay $ 150 but $ 80
So. they keep saying its me not them, and they are giving me discounts.
5.- After this «repair» my phone starts having problems with reception and by now I don’t want to go to this guy anymore. So I look for someone else, I went to someone that seemed very knowledgeable this person opens up the phone and he says «whoever messed with your phone, doesn’t even know where the screws go» Screws are either damaged, missing, or placed in a hole were they don’t belong, So, this guy tells me… you know what? I’m so sorry… I won’t charge you for the revision, but I can’t help you!
Are you kidding me? Now I was incredibly angry!
I immediately go back to «accessorize it» where I have been swindled to demand they fix my phone once and for all, change it or give me my money back!
So, the guy from accessorize it with a straight stare and straight serious face like he has true integrity and would never swindle anyone tells me: «It’s been too long since you have bough your phone from us, I can’t do anything, what I can do is diagnose it and fix it for you, and if I need to put in new parts I will only charge you»
So, he takes my phone and when he opens it up tells me … OMG! «YOU opened it» … I told him, no one has done any work on it, except your company.
He replies: «that is not true because we put a seal inside of our face plates and this one doesn’t have one» with the most serious and straight face I have ever seen! So he is calling me a liar right to my face! I asked him for my phone back and when he tries to close the phone back up a light kept coming up when he is trying to close it! HE DAMAGED IT AGAIN!!!
Its is completely my fault YES! But for taking it to get repaired at this place!!! He tells me: «that’s what happened when someone that doesn’t know what they are doing opens up a phone» aaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Exactly!!! So… I take a deep breath and accept its my fault for going back!
I walked out and researched Unilocal and found a 5 star I phone repair called Dr. Apple… I thought: they are my last shot before I just throw out my phone and get in debt with another one.
So, the Dr. Apple Diagnosis: DAMAGED MOTHERBOARD!!!
MAN! Why did that «accessorize it» guy hate me so much??? I think stealing and taking advantage of customers is just their way of getting rich! I accept is was my fault for being so stupid and going back every time I needed «repairs» to damages (he caused).
Dr. apple charged me $ 50 dollars for almost refurbishing my phone, new vibrating motor (yes, another one), new mesh for the speaker, new mother board and everything in less than and hour… my phone is back to normal and I don’t have to spend $ 600 on a new phone, (which I would probably have by now with all the money that was swindled from me from accessorize it).
I warn you not to go to «Accessorize it» on Sweetwater road in National City… He will steal, lie, cheat and blame you for all the damages he causes to your phone!
