Beware of this company, they do not honor prices on the design agreement that is signed at deposit time.
We spent close to a month working on a kitchen cabinet design with a kitchen designer in the Natick location. On 4/​2, everything was finalized and we put down a deposit and signed the design agreement. Two days later, we get an email from the designer that the cabinet doors we wanted required a special upgrade cost that she forgot about and would require an extra $ 1600. We looked at the design agreement and the type of doors we wanted was clearly stated there. We informed them of this and were told they could have us pay an extra $ 700 instead of $ 1600 since it was an «honest» mistake on their part. It still constitutes the company not honoring a contracted agreement. This was not an on the fly quote but rather something the company could have corrected many times prior to signing agreement.
I eventually spoke with the Operations Manager and also the President of the company and they still refused to honor the contracted price. They insisted they were doing me a favor by having me pay an extra $ 700 above contracted price. The President was combative and rude and even raised his voice at me.
On the company website, the President writes a letter that included this line:
«Once the price is agreed upon, customer service becomes the most important issue. «
I can say with certainty that this was definitely not the case with me. The President had very little concern about customer service and at one point in our call, I had to tell him to calm down. This certainly does not seem like a company that cares about customer service or honoring promises at all. Price is definitely not the easy thing.
When I posted on their Facebook page regarding the matter, the company actually deleted my post and blocked me from their page. To me, that speaks volumes as to how petty this company is. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

When I decided to redo my 30 year old kitchen I wasn’t sure where to begin, so I spoke with my contractor Beto, owner of Beto’s General Work, who I knew would give me the right advice. Without hesitation, he recommended Metropolitan Cabinet & Counter-​tops.
I must say, it was the best advice I could have gotten. They had an incredible array of cabinet styles, granite and other counter tops, as well as a full compliment of hardware in their showroom. The quality of the cabinets is great. The draws slide smoothly, the doors close silently, and the finish is fantastic.
Kerry Frantz and his associates were available to help me every step of the way. He worked very closely with my contractor, Beto, whose work, talent and creativity was outstanding.
I’m so happy that now, thanks to them, I have my dream kitchen.

I walked into the showroom last night with hopes of finding a nice new kitchen faucet (I wanted to see something in person –not just online). The showroom is large and beautiful –I think it would be a pleasant place to shop.
A gentleman came out to great me and I told him about the type of faucet I’m looking for (I have so many stipulations that it’s really narrowed my search). He made some suggestions and showed me a few faucets. He suggested I go to a different store that may have what I’m looking for. He also suggested looking into a water filtration system (in the basement or under the sink) –that was one of my issues. These were all really helpful suggestions and I really appreciate a sales person being upfront, honest and helpful. As I’m in sales myself, I always think it’s important to guide the customer in the right direction rather than only focusing on «what can I sell to them».
I left the store with a good feeling about the company and I would recommend them if you are looking to renovate your kitchen or bathroom. They have lots of options, examples and helpful service!
