Description

Specialties

Children learn music the same way they learn to walk and talk; by observing those with whom they have a close personal bond. That is why parents and caregivers play an important role participating in our Music Together classes.

Our classes are little communities of families with young children sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement and dance activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance oriented setting. This is the developmentally-appropriate way for children to learn and grow musically, cognitively, socially, and physically.

Register for a class and join our music-making families. You’ll see how much fun learning can be.

Mixed age classes for ages 0 up to 5 years old.

Make beautiful music with your children in one of our joyful, research-based classes.

History

Established in 2004.

Our parent company Music Together® began offering music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in 1987. It was the first company to create a research-based music program for early childhood and it has been much copied ever since.

Loulou’s Music Together has been offering classes since 2004. We currently offer classes in Natick, Sherborn & West Roxbury, MA

Meet the Business Owner

Loulou M.

Business Owner

Louise-Marie Mennier (aka Loulou) trained classically, but has spent most of her career working in Musical Theatre, both on Broadway and touring across Canada and the US in shows such as Phantom of the Opera. She studied vocal performance at McGill University in Montréal and Music Theatre on full scholarship at the Banff Center for the Performing Arts. Based in New York City for many years, she performed on Broadway in the Hal Prince Tony Award winning revival of Showboat. She also performed frequently off-Broadway as a bilingual member of UBU Repertory Theatre. She currently sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus — the official chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and has been a soloist with the Boston Pops under Keith Lockhart.

Loulou became a registered Music Together teacher after discovering the richness of the premier early childhood curriculum. Loulou’s Music has been offering researched based classes taught with love in Natick & West Roxbury since 2004.
