BASEDONCUSTOMERSERVICE. My daughter and I went to the mall today and stopped in the food court for lunch. She is 4 so of course she’s a picky eater and all she wanted was a cheeseburger. I didn’t want to get McDonalds and know D Angelos was a healthier alternative. We went to order a children’s cheeseburger as the menu States, and the cashier was extremely rude. She began arguing with me saying how it is a «different» cheese burger. English was not her first language so I’m not sure what she meant. I said I don’t know what you mean by «different» we have never had any burger from here before but she just wants a hamburger patty with the cheese. She began to argue and give me attitude so I said never mind and walked away. I recognize this woman and she has worked at the McDonalds right next door to D’Angelo’s and was very unpleasant there as well. If you are going to hire people to work the front, please make sure that they are pleasant and have customer service skills which this woman clearly lacks!

Wish I could report on the food. I waited at the counter for almost 15 minutes while one guys cooked and another guy puttered around moving bread and stuff around the kitchen. It was like a social experiment to see how long some sucker would stand there before leaving.

Went to D’Angelos on Sunday July 29, 2012. Never got a chance to order anything. The women behind the counter was extremely rude. We asked her how much would it be to make a meal on one of the subs. The price sign for a meal was taped to the front of the counter. We did not see it as we were blocking it by standing at the counter. Her response was“what are you blind” We left and we reported her to the mangement office the next day.

Not sure why the low reviews but I’ll just be honest, the food was awesome here. I’m an out of towner(California) and heard some good things about this place so I gave it a shot. Ordered a lobster sandwich and loved it! It’s a fast food place so it was a quick in and out, and when I left, I was extremely satisfied hence the 5 stars.

I had a hair on my wrap, enough said. However, for more disappointment, I was first in line(apart from a few people waiting for their orders at the other end) and there was no one at the counter to take orders for a good 10 minutes.

This rewards program they have going on is outrageously generous. I go to papa ginos and deangelo’s quite a bit, i use my rewards card every time. Lately they have been asking«if i want to use my points?» I say yes and my large turkey sub ends up costing me like a dollar and twelve cents. This keeps happening, i feel a bit uneasy like i’m taking advantage of them. This rewards program is not to be missed out on.

Ew. Stopped by here out of necessity while doing some last-minute Christmas shopping at the mall(I was hungry, low on cash, and had gotten decent stuff at other D’Angelos franchises before). I ordered their veggie stir-fry pocket with cheese, which is one of very few items I can order there, as I don’t eat meat. First, I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for said sandwich, even though the line was extremely short. Second, the cashier didn’t get my soda for me until I reminded her that I had paid for one. When I did remind her, she scoffed, looked annoyed, set the cup up to autofill, and walked away for 2 more minutes before giving it to me. Finally, I am normally very understanding of the fact that places like this are not incredibly vegetarian friendly… all food is typically cooked on the same griddle, so it gets«contaminated,» so to speak. I don’t really care about that. But my sandwich was filled with little burnt, crispy bits of different types of meat — beef, chicken, whatever — that basically altered the whole flavor of the sandwich. I mean, really — can’t they at least wipe the burnt pieces of meat off the griddle after other things have finished cooking? I tossed half of my sandwich and walked away. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

Having been away from anywhere that has a D’Angelo’s within driving distance for the past 5 years, I made a quick stop to the one in the Natick Mall food court on my way to where I was going. Not only did the girl tell me to WAIT a minute(as she picks up her iPhone and dials one of her peeps), but then she holds the phone to her ear as she takes my order. Had to ask me to repeat the fact that I wanted a pita pocket rather than a wrap and then starts gabbing to her friend on the phone. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I gave her a $ 20 for a $ 5 sandwich and she gives me $ 5 back. When I start to question her — keep in mind this is all while she is still on the phone with her friend — she first gives me a «why are you still standing here» look before she glances on the screen and sees that she owes me $ 10 more and goes«Ohmygosh! I’m so sorry!!», drops her phone on the counter and scurries to get the rest of my change. Of course, all this could’ve been avoided if she had dealt with the customer before picking up her phone and hitting the dial. Where has customer service gone these days? My advice — stay away from this location unless you just happen to be conveniently in the mall. And even then — go to the Au Bön Pain on the first floor. 100% focus on the customer and the food is just so much better.
