This is a must stop for a true country music fan. There is a wall of books on just about any classic country artist that you can imagine… They have Ernest Tubb’s your bus displayed inside, and they also let you go into it. It is a very interesting place if you’re a country music fan. Also the workers are very friendly.

Nice place and it has a bus !
The ladies helped me pick out some music formy wife, daughter and son.
They sell vinyl also that is an A+ in my book.
They have lots of old time bluegrass and the like…
I would go back & buy more things if I did not live 1000 miles away

Like the other location downtown, the Ernest Tubb Record Store out by the Opryland area is more tourist grab than a real record store, but it’s fun to look through and includes the fantastic tour bus used by ol’ Ernest and his band. As someone who absolutely loathes «hot new country,» I find the shop interesting because they try to appeal to fans of old country while also being forced to lure in fans of modern radio country. As a curiosity, it’s worth browsing for a while no matter what your favorite flavor.
