Dr. McNutt is a native of Nashville who is married to his wife of over 25 years and they have 3 sons. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis and completed 2 additional years of study, receiving a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was chief resident. He graduated from all three programs with honors, and he received long-term training from the Chauncey Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders.
Dr. McNutt is a member of the American Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association as well as a diplomate for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. McNutt also authored a children’s book titled «Alley Alligator’s Awesome Smile» to promote healthy dental hygiene as well as a positive first experience at the dentist for your child, which is available for purchase at his office.
